the cell is good in looks but the problem is poor outgoing voice..the battery back up is bad...

I have been using this set for last 2 months now, the out going sound quality is very poor, I have to bring its microphone side at the bottom close to my mouth while talking.

For all those people claiming battery lasts about a day. Have it ever occurred to you that it may be broken? Claim your warranty ffs. It's 900mAH so it has to give you at least 2:30 hours of talk time unless you replaced the original with some 2$ ebay one.

There is some sick samsung fanboi that posts here about GD510 sucking and its poor battery life. He posted with over 15 usernames like 2SZW, 2Zje etc.
I have this phone since jun. 2010 and here is the truth:
1. Battery Life is fine. It lasts up to 3 days for me with around 90 minutes of call and 20 minutes of data transfer per day. Thats really the standard of todays feature phones.
2. Screen is resistive. IT IS NOT CAPACITIVE PERIOD. It can't be as good as iphone's or other costly handsets. It requires slight force to correctly register your input. Same as all other phones in this price range (Samsung cosby, LG cookie etc.)
3. For the price it really has something to offer. It feels sturdy and build quality is excellent. It can only do normal GPRS, no 3G here so it may be slow to load heavy websites.
4. Camera is average. It's not worse then any 3.15 mp cameras found in other phones on this price range. There is no flash so it scores below average in dark rooms.
All in all, if you are looking for cute, modern phone in this price range, go for it. It's the best phone you can get for under 100$. Or you can go for the next good thing from LG, the GT240.

I bough this last week and its working good. Battery holds charge for 2-3 days. Please note. that when you buy a new phone make sure your first change should be over 7 hours. Even if your battery shows charing full. it should be left in power plug for 7 continues hours. That is when your full capacity of the battery will be exposed. Please try this when you buy any phone next time and you will be happy with battery life. Photos are much better than any camera in that segment. Nokia 3.2 camera captures like a vga clarity. (personal expreience)

Hi.. i have been using this phone from last 2 months ..
This phone has following demerits:
1. Battery backup is very very low
2. Sms memory is less than 500
3. TOUCH SCREEN SUCKS ... very poor touch...
4. Camera quality is very poor at night ( no flash)
5. absence of multitasking. we cannot play music as well as browse the net simultaneously .
6. Scrachable body .
7. Hangs and restarts .
8. Plug in ear phones not available
9. cant have audio jack for car stereo.

this is the worst mobile i have ever used .will urge all users not to buy this phone i am fedup with it only in a month's time poor batttry bck up browsing tks ages...cnt b used as multi tasking vry low on memory in terms of msgs......THIS PHONE SUCKS!!

Hi, I might be getting this phone, The only problems ive read are battery period? I dnt usually phone for extended periods, just short and sweet... And from previous experience touch screens freak out pretty quickly... Has any1 used this phone for an extended time? any1 who can respond to these comments is cool... just saying...

I'm fed up with the inefficient battery. Even many settings are enabled but the main use of a phone is for phonning while in pep the charge will reach least with in a 2 to 3 hour calling and also even the phone is in the pocket for one day in class stationary . If anyone know any tricks to improve battery efficiency or charge period by any substitutions please post it.

Its impossible to here music through ear piece while charging and also to connect with an external speaker system because of the absence of a 3.5 or 2.5 mm jack. Camera is very poor in its shutter speed. Why should we use ear phones?? , then why should the shutter sound , ringtone , reminding tones is coming through loud speakers even while ear piece is attached ??

one of the worst future and unbearable spec of all LG phones in budget range touch phone is low capacity battery!.
why LG not taken in to consider. this is prime important requirement of phones. without talk time what is the use? if other futures are given

I bought one of these when they came out in BC, good sound quality, great picture quality, great video, both my son and I have no problems with the phones, its not really aimed at someone who has English as a second language, the intetrface is not hard to figure out, the battery life is NOT great, if you use your phone for something other than texting, but all you need to do is keep it charged

Pep is a one step forward phone... But it is not always efficient in its enabled settings . One example is its slow browser but it can be compensate by installing a browser to have a net jet browsing.But the user will fail to watch videos through net . Its battery is too week in its function , the battery will reach the least charge within a small period of hearing music, browsing as well as calling. But it's multitasking menu is very helpful to perform 10 functions at a time. Koreans had finished the body in metal to make the phone tamper proof the most . One more helpful facility it that we can thread the messages. Phone will perform all settings except 3g ,wifi etc . but we must consider its price tag also to get the reason for the lack of such facilities .

only one problem..
Sound is not clear.. you will always be shouting loudly else your voice is never audible on the other end..
