I was pretty much excited to use it fisrt when it was launched on March this year (2010). But sooner the phone started to hang on capturing images or recording videos.

sai, 27 Jun 2010hie can u tell how may days that the battery can give charg... moredude the mobile battery backup is for 2 days maximum. if u plays videos or suffering from internet the backup is only for 1 day

But i always go with shallow discharges of the battery (until the phone shuts down by itself in standby mode).
Standby time also greatly depends on signal area and quality in your area - the poorer signal and/or quality, the higher transmit power required, thus lower standby/talk time.

The reviews on the LG GD510 Pop seem to be mixed! U go on 1 sight and it says its a brillant phone then u go onto a different 1 and everyone is giving out about it! I was going to buy this phone but now i'm really confused! Is it a good phone or not! I just want a simple phone good enough camera and mp3 player and good touchscreen is this the phone for me?

I purchased this phone just 2 days back.Its worth for money.But one thing I need to specify .Sound clarity is good.Features are very good. Some negative feed back I can give.
1. Battery life so poor (Max one day u will get after full charging)
2. There is no Wi-Fi
3. No solar panel charging
4. Not able to scan FM automatically (poor catching the FM signals)
5. If you keep speaker phone in full sound ,Speaker vibrates and makes a noise.

in phone
go to menu >setting>connectivity>usb connection select mass storage and connect it ur pc, ur pc shows 2 removable drives (as like pen drive) and u can able to transfer the data from pc to phone or phone to pc. it used just like pen drive but note that u can transfer only songs, videos, documents, wallpapers and any other multimedia product by mass storage
but
if u want to view ur messages, contacts, or want to add games and application or want to run internet from mobile to pc or pc to mobile u hv to use pc suite.
u can also creat backup of ur messages, contacts through pc suite in pc. if u r unable to copy any thing from pc to mobile or mobile to pc there r 2 reasons of this
1. the thing u want to transfer is transfer denied file.
or
2. ur mobile or pc has surfering from virus. scan both by anti virus
i suggest u to scan ur mobile by usb anti virus.

I HAVE THIS PHONE!!:) my father brought it back from india a couple months ago! its absolutely the best phone i have EVER had!! its small and has loads of memory!! its very easy to fit anywhere and its simple to use with outstanding features i would recommend this to ANYONE!!!
