You dont have to unlock the phone to reject a call. When a incoming call is coming- the appearance is like this- Accept||Reject. Drag the bar from the middle to Accept or Reject side to answer or reject a call. Or if you want to silent a call face down the phone to right side. Its so simple and fun. Why people are making this a issue I dont know. Its the best set in this price range. Worth buying it.

I got this phone like a week ago.
Its a good phone for £80, but is no match for any blackberry or iphone. But hey, you get what you pay for. If this is your first touchscreen phone then it will be good enough for you. it is easy to use, and generally quite responsive.
The only bad thing i have found on this phone so far is once you have written a message, you go to chose who you want to send it to and you start to type in the letters for it to search the pphonebook and it is rather slow.
But overall really good phone :)

LG Cookie Pep vs Samsung Corby!

            (1) DESIGN: Cookie Pep on one hand has a refreshingly simple & classy design which suits to more mature people. Whereas Corby has a more stylish & youthful design with rounded edges & multi-coloured interchangable back panels that appeals more to the youngsters. Both the phones have similar dimensions & weight as well, Cookie Pep being a slightly slimmer & lighter. But the main disadvantage of Cookie Pep's design is that it only has a single multi-functional key in the front, which acts as the menu key in stand-by mode, call receive key for incoming calls & call end key for ongoing calls. Though that feature might sound appealing to some people, but its sometimes really annoying that you can't reject an incoming call from the outside. You first have to unlock the screen & then do it through the virtual on-screen key.

            (2) USER INTERFACE: Both the phones are Java-based non-smartphones which run on flash-based platforms. User Interfaces (UI) for both phones are quite intuitive & easy to use, but the TouchWiz UI in Corby is a bit more fun to use because of its better implementation & lively colours & icons. And also the special Cartoon UI in the Corby is an added treat for the youngsters.

            (3) EARPHONES: Though both the phones lack a standard 3.5mm audio jack, which is essential for feature phones in such a price range, but still Corby has a distinct advantage. The earphones supplied with Cookie Pep are not upto the mark, the same old proprietary LG earphones with big earpieces, no 3.5mm audio connector & an average audio quality. Whereas, Corby comes with cool earphones with dettachable 3.5mm audio connector & small earbuds that fits into your ears, which give an excellent audio quality.

            (4) AUDIO QUALITY: Speaking of music quality, Corby has a great music feature called DNSe (Digital Natural Sound Engine) found on all Samsung feature phones now-a-days, that provides a virtual 3D-like surround sound experience on the earphones, which is a treat for music lovers. Whereas Cookie Pep lacks any such feature & provides a plain & simple audio experience. The sound output on external speakers is almost similar in both phones, Cookie Pep's being a bit louder.

            (5) BATTERY: Here too, Corby has an edge over Cookie Pep. Cookie Pep gives a talktime of only 3.5 hrs, as compared to Corby's impressive 9 hrs talktime.

            (6) TOUCHSCREEN: As far as the touch responsiveness is concerned, Cookie Pep has a resistive touchscreen, which means your finger inputs will need a slight pressure. Whereas, Corby comes with a capacitive touchscreen that registers even the slightest of touches.

            (7) DISPLAY: The screen size of Cookie Pep is bigger than Corby. Cookie Pep has a 3.0 inches screen with a resolution of 240x400 pixels. Whereas Corby has a 2.8 inches screen with a resolution of 240x320 pixels, which actually isn't a big concern, considering thats standard for touch phones in this price range.

            (8) CAMERA: Cookie Pep has a 3.2MP camera, as compared to Corby's 2MP. So, obviously the image quality & size would be better in case of Cookie Pep. However, the camera interface in Corby is slightly better as compared to Cookie Pep & Corby has Smile Detection feature too. But again, 2MP or 3.2MP, it doesn't really make a difference for a phone when compared to a dedicated digital camera. Video recording capability in both phones is same, at an unimpressive quality of QVGA@15fps.

            (9) ACCESSORIES: Corby comes with an inbox leather pouch & multi-coloured interchangable back panels, which are missing in case of Cookie Pep. The rest of the inbox accessories being similar, i.e., charger, earphones, USB cable, 2GB microSD card. None of them come with a pen stylus though.

            (10) END-USER EXPERIENCE: The internal memory of both phones is similar (45-50MB), however the processing of Cookie Pep is quite sluggish as compared to that of Corby's. Cookie Pep often gets complaints from customers about the device hanging a lot & getting restarted on its own, apart from the usual one of the display dying out. Any such problems have rarely been seen in case of Corby.

            (11) APPLICATIONS: Both the phones are Social Networking enabled, with dedicated applications for social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc. But the main advantage of Cookie Pep over Corby is the presence of the following "very important" features that Corby lacks:
            (i) Accelerometer Sensor for screen auto-rotation.
(ii) On-screen virtual Qwerty keyboard in landscape mode.
(iii) Handwriting recognition (reason being it has a less sensitive resistive touchscreen).
            (iv) Fully-functional real task manager.
However, Corby has better games, more number of widgets & other useful features like Photo Contacts, Fake Call application, Find Music recognition service & One-Finger zooming for gallery & browsing. Corby also has the unique Smart Unlock feature that allows you to simultaneously unlock the phone & open a menu item or application - even dial a contact - just by drawing a letter on the unlock screen.

            (12) DISADVANTAGES: Both the phones are priced similar, but lack 3G, Wi-Fi or GPS & flash & autofocus for camera. But its unfair to expect such added features from them, given that the price range they come at, i.e., between Rs.6000-7000, Cookie Pep being at a couple of hundred bugs more than Corby. But the real deal setter is the quality of the device & accessories provided.
