This phone is far better than nokias 5233. The pixel clarity is great. Audio quality is awesome. This phone support mp4 video. Internet is also good. Photo editor and video editor is great. Themes and fonts are great. I will rate this phone 9/10.

Small, intuitive and nice looking interface, touch lacks some sensitivity. can't get them to play MP4, any suggestion?

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Lg pop and Nokia 5230 are two different phone.
Nokia is symbian based touch screen, which has multitasking, 3.5 mm jack, big and high resolution nHD screen compared to pop, 16 M color support, you can download plenty of themes and games in it, very good sound quality, comes with 10 or 100 songs voucher, camera 2 mp but it is very good, Vga @ 30 fps video recording, better battery (1320 mah), 3g, and the most good feature, it have built-in gps with A-gps, with lifetime free voice guided navigation (buying a navigation licence cost about 40 USD for 6 month, but in nokia it is totally free, the good thing is also that it dont freezes unlike some s60 handset.

In Lg pop you would find 3mp + a eye candy ui and its design is good, In rest of features 5230 is better.
So its your decision.

its a good phone of a range of 7.5k to 8k. bit it lacks 3g and 3.5 mm jack which is utmost required in branded and 7k price mobiles

Mili, 22 Mar 2010Hi, 5230 is better than pep as its a 3G Phone with better ... morelg pep(11.2mm) is a nice phone compare to nokia 5230&5233(15mm) only difference 3G.nowadays slim phones are like more people's. 1.nokia phones are not so slim. 2.sound are not loud,it needs connect external speaker,who wants to listen music carry him with one external speaker? ok.3.camera clarity are varying,in nokia it looks like bluish but lg or sony looks like present color,u can compare it. 4.nokia battery life are beaten other phone.5.nokia sales are past 2years because of other phone sale.6.buyer can think of phone slim,out looks,camera,music,display&net speed
