I got this phone a few months a go and I've been quite happy with it, but I do have one problem. Last night, I used the earphones to listen to the radio and when I unplugged the headphones, the handset still shows that the headphones are plugged in and so I can't make or recieve calls without the headphones. Does anyone have any advise onn how I could get the green headphone symbol off my handset, so that I can use the phone without headphones? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Here is how i resolve problem with public WiFi, that says 'failed to connect' , i connected earphones and try again and says connected :D

About battery life..
saturday 17PM , full battery, diconnected from charging, brightnes is on level3
using web browser 5min,
short call 30sec,
gmaps 8min,
mig33 10min,
typing message and other, 15min
before sleep at 1 AM sunday, 55min MP3 on loudspeaker (volume 12)
in 8AM, again 55min (volume 9), 2 battery bars left
receiving bluetooth 34MB,
MP3 max (vol 20), 6min
searching for WiFi 5min
MP3 > earphones, 30min
now is 16:48 , still two battery bars left
playing video clip, 8min
one bar left at 8PM
mig33, 3min
browsing interface, 3min
MP3, 15min
at 11PM playing game 3min, low battery, off

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2010you are obviously doing something wrong, because i tested i... morewhat can i do wrong, just switch on WiFi, chose public SSID(in this case dlink) and click Connect >> error "Failed to connect"

I upgrade to last firmware, again says "failed to connect" ,
never have the problem with that on my N79 on public WiFi

you are obviously doing something wrong, because i tested it on wpa/wpa2 secured wi-fi and there were no problems.

I asked before about the batter ... well, i finally bought it and on the first charge it lasted 1 day with wi-fi 15 min and more than 30-45 min browsing the interface plus some short calls.
Now, on 3rd charge it lasted all day long with only 1 battery bar. Probably it will last till tomorrow. So, the conclusion:
With moderate use of wi-fi (not more than 15-20min) and short calls (not more than 10-20 min) and 30 min menu browsing/day the battery should last at least 24 hours. ;)

phone crashes whenever i try to exit watching a youtube clip
phantom web browser is good, better than opera mini
responsive touch, good display n camera
but the OS sux balls for everything else
would not recommend, very disappointed

LG service suck unlike Sony-Ericsson no question ask if your set is under warrant !!!!
