Sako, 29 Jan 2010Hey^ how many hrs. is the music play mode? can or will it ... moreOk let me just tell you the truth... I don't know about other phones out there or practically how many hours of playback those phones can give. I have personally tested my GM200 and with a single full charge and under normal listening volume, I got 14Hours of continuous music playback. The phone will work another six hours after the Batt low warning is displayed. The multimedia functionalities will be disabled tho... Haven't tried in offline or flight mode. Guessing maybe 20+ hours.

Even I have no idea what all applications work on this phone. I just try out what I feel will be useful for me. All the applications mentioned would make quite an essentials list.

try mobile24.com, here you can pick a few, and dont forget to download MSWORD, from there.
as regards to RSS feed, try to download from Tommi Laukkanen website, its his, you can take one more APPL from there, Mobile task manager, as regards to the rest of the other stuff, try www.hetjar.com, and you should be through,

ebuddy is very reliable program, nimbuzz and mova messenger does not work, movamail, can support only gmail, try RSS reader, it works perfectly in my gm200, Following programs work very well.
Micro Calc, (spread sheet)
Mini Note pad
Newshunt, supports vernacular news paper, too
SHA Plus mobile Info, ( a must for mobile phones, it tells you various mobile operators name across the country)
RSS reader for news feeds
Dictionary V2.9
Mobile Task manager
Google maps,
M TEXT reader
Hopefully more to follow,

karthik, 27 Jan 2010i purchased lg gm 200 and it is ok but area display option ... moreAnd still if it does not work then drop into ur nearest LG service center. All it will take is 20 mins to fix up the problem. I think both of ur fones(rajesh and karthiks) need a firmware update.. Chill

karthik, 27 Jan 2010i purchased lg gm 200 and it is ok but area display option ... moreDon't lose your cool mate... It is available in this phone. you just gotta activate it. I've made a post regarding this. I'm just copying and pasting the instructions from my previous post below.
To activate cell info display, just goto messages-> Settings-> info message-> receive-> on and alerts-> on.
Come back to messages-> info message-> topics-> (if there are no topics set, then set new topic by entering subject code as '50' and subject as '50') save it and mark 50 as active list.
Goto standby and if message appears, you're done... it comes preloaded with a bunch of channels in latest firmware version. So just try it and see if it works.

i purchased lg gm 200 and it is ok but area display option is not there and it is very necessary to me while travelling without knowing i purchased lg gm 200 and this is the mistake i done such a big company is not taking any care to install this software and it is shame forlg company

Anonymous, 26 Jan 2010yeah and there is zero soundstage for EP-630.Have you tried the CX300 or the newer CX300II? I saw a sennheiser catalogue when I went to buy my philips. I've noticed 2 variants. One is the ordinary model and saw another one which was stated as active or sports series or somethin like that. The first one costs about 3.8k MRP and the latter one costs even more. It was tempting though.....
