Thanks a ton mate for ur timely reply. I have decided that i am gonna buy GM200 for sure, coz i went through KM335 forum and ppl there were really not that happy with the fone as compared to GM200. KM335 ppl were very pissed off with its UI. Reg GS 200 i am bit skeptical regarding its cam and moreover i don wanna deviate. It does not have EDGE as well.

I am getting this cell for Rs 5125 including 1 yr warranty mate alongwith intex speakers, forgot to tell u that.

The vendor was so very sure that he said we can use both the headsets simultaneously. Now i jus wanna know ki, if i get a usb pin with a 3.5 mm jack will the sound effect be same as that with the other already provided 3.5 mm jack provided with the fone? And how will i sound if i integrate both the headsets with the "in ear"(buds) kinda headsets?

U got me wrong regarding Corby mate bro.. U compared with corby... Here is the link to the fone i was talking about-

One more thing, would u put some light on the themes aspect of the fone? Can themes be got compatible for the fone or can we create some themes in it?

I am one more dilemma. One of ma frens called me today and said that he is selling off his SE W810i. what shall i do? Its one of ma dream fones. Walkman Rocx man!

Finally it would be wonders if LG puts up a flash on GM200 which can even be used as a torch.GM will rock for time immemorial.

But so far, I am only able to save about 150-160 messages. The message uses shared momory rather than reserved type so I expect it to change with the latest firmware update.

Thank you for showing interest in my posts.. I sure do appreciate it.
1) I bought this phone three months back from Univercell for 5570INR. Which also included a one year theft and accidental damage insurance. So for 5125, I think it's a good bargain.

2) yes that's true. The firmware is improving with every newer version and more functionality is being added with each update. The newer lineup will certainly benefit from these updated firmware.

3) I hope so... since my third update, I've been able to install a lot of java appa with sizes above 800KB. I've also have Oxford mini dictionary installed in my phone and is working just fine. It doesn't have the app support that nokia and SE phones possess but it will do the job for you. And the software updates include updates for java libraries too. So you can expect improvements with application support.

4) the headset only comes with a call or hold button. So no music buttons. but this phone comes equipped with a 3.5mm jack as well as a micro usb port which also doubles up as an earphone jack. So if you can find a good pair of earphones with a micro usb connectivity pin, then it just might work.

5) I haven't tried that one out yet. usb earphones are very hard to come by you know. Theoretically it might work as I've seen posts in samsung forums claiming that they can use both earphones at the same time with the beat series of music phones.

6) Gaming is average with no lags or frame skips. But be warned, if you are planning to buy this phone because of it gaming capabilities, then I wouldn't recommend it. it is only good for 2D games. latest 3D games are not supported yet. I say this because the hardware support (java midp 2.0 and CLDC 1.1) is there but it has to do with the libraries loaded onto it which determines the capability and functionality of java apps and games. but be assured that almost all classic java games work well. And you can get good games at zedge.net or mobile9.com

7) Yes this phone supports bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP profiles so it should work well. it doesn't matter which company. If the headset has the specified profile, it should work without any glitches.

8) Corby mate is a great touch screen phone but it is just an entry level touch phone without much functionality. KM335 is another great choice if you are willing to pay a little extra. features almost same as GM200 but with 3.15mp autofocus cam and LED flash, it would be a great choice if you can afford that much extra.
So as my conclusion, if you are looking for a good music phone without putting a hole in your pocket, GM200 would be a great choice. If you can afford a bit more, then definitely go for KM335. GS200 is just a cheaper version of GM200 with almost similar specs.

The rest is upto you to decide... think about your needs and usage and then decide which suits you best. I'll always be glad to help you out.

1. Had been to a retail outlet Univercell in ma city, getting the fone for 5125(INR, approx US$100). They giving free intex speakers with it. Good bargain?

2. The vendor said that the new GM 200's have upgraded firmware and better than its predecessors. He said that the earlier glitches faced in the fone have been sorted out to an extent. Is it so?

3. Can i download GRE(Graduate record examination) and other vocab/quant applications from the net into the fone and will it work?

4. Does the headsets of this fone have dedicated music keys? If no then can i buy a headset with dedicated music keys seperately. will it work?

5. The fone has a 3.5 mm jack and another slot for the headsets. Can both the ports be used and integrated with 3.5 mm jack headsets. Hope ur getting me. :o

6. How about the gaming aspect reg this fone? Where can i get good games?

7. Can this fone be integrated with any bluetooth headset device? Viz samsung or SE?

8. Which fone would u suggest between Samsung corby mate(B3313), LG KM 335, LG GB200?

Goto these links and type the links as it is onto the URL box for the type of feeds you want to receive. It should work as I tried it myself and it is working well for me. The only thing to look for is that the links should be typed correctly.

Just tried it myself to see if it really works.
The only thing to look for while adding feeds links is thet the link shoud end with the extension .rss. To give you just an example, take a look at this link

Assuming thta there is no connection probs, it should work just fine as it did for me...Enjoy..

Other than this I guess it's gotta do with faulty firmware. Try and get it updated from the nearest service center.
