raj, 05 Sep 2009i have lg gm200 from last two months. it is superb. if any ... moreyes gm200 does have the better louderspeaker...and audio quality through earphone...nokia earphones sucks.
so using philips SHH9700 for both. GM200 is very good as it got the dolby but frankly 5130 is slightly better in terms of pure audio quality and sound reproduction even though gm200 has more effect.
The bass and treble with 5130 is simply awesome and the midrange well defined.
with gm200 you feel that some sounds die out but 5130 is well balanced throughout the entire frequency spectrum as is shown by the frequency response graph of GSMArena.
dolby surround of gm200 is also pretty impressive and those who want to listen to something new shd go for gm200.
for excellent sound reproduction among all frequency ranges go for 5130. The one thing i noticed is by using SHH9700 the sound stage is improved dramatically and gives the impression of you being in the middle of a rock concert and the musicians are playing around you.
BTW same is notice in gm200 too with dolby on.
As an overall package gm200 is no match for 5130.

i have lg gm200 from last two months. it is superb. if any body is music lover. he must brought it. amazing sound quality. i compare 5130 and this hand to hand in music. u can't belive u can not even music of 5130 when don lg gm200 is on. amazing bass. boofer really works. 5130 is nothing in compare of music. yes clarity of screen 5130 better because of 240*320 pics. lg gm has 177*220 pics in screen. but camera clarity is better then nokia in day light. go for it man without thinking. ya ya radio realy works superb. i m in ambala(haryana) even here fm is going very well.

I have not seen and used both nokia 5130 and LG GM200.
But, there is 1 thing i am very sure that i am gonna buy Nokia 5130.
Okay, the reason is :
If i buy LG GM200, I cant do more beside the 2.1 loudspeaker. Maybe for music lovers who like listening music through loudspeaker, LG GM 200 is better , this 1 i am very sure. How can Nokia 5130 with mono speaker beat LG GM200 with 2.1 speaker? That is a question that makes me very sure that LG GM200 is much stronger than Nokia 5130.
For me, i will use portable speaker to listen to music without using the headset. With Nokia 5130, i can download lot of games, applications, themes and Nokia 5130 has its own quality.
So, for you who wanna try new thing , you can go for LG GM200 with the 2.1 speaker.
And for you who needs more than listening to music at all, you can choose Nokia 5130 with higher resolution screen and you can do more things such as playing games, change the themes, it supports a lot of application and easy user interface.

Even samsung offers better features for this price. Just do some searching. S3310, S3500, 2700 classic, 5130 all offers better features than gm200.

For Sunny:- U should go in for this phone,it is great at the price its being sold.Much better than SE or Nokia,Lg is not much into marketing Blitz like others,I have heard this phone & nokia,Lg phones r Much better than the rest.I have Nokia,Samsung & Lg sets home.THe best in terms of features,Battery backup,sound reliability, GM 200 is a great phone in its self.The sound is great,as well as other features.U can also check KM330/335 of LG.
My openion just CLOSE Ur EYES AND Get it.!!!

smit, 14 Aug 2009how many msgs can store in lg gm 200 and nokia 5130??the phone memory for smses is not huge but u can back it up. go to messages settings back up text messages and copy them to external memory. once that is done u will have a copy of all the sent smses and the inbox messages on ur memory card. then delete d inbox and sent items. see d others part of external memory. it'll show u a copy of all the messages that u stored

i never wanna buy a nokia so do not add it or neother phone..
i hav listened to w395 n its awesum, bt this phone wid woofer n all audio specs is makin me crazy n i hav not listened to it though so please giv me a response soon m waiting...

2 people from London will have the same location, even if they're on the opposite ends of the city.

No matter how high you turn up the volume , the gm200 can cope . Dolby mobile and 2 stereo speaker with 1 subwoofer always give you the highest sound quality

The gm200 had the best built in speakers of the lot with clear and sharp volume . Add that together with the Dolby surround sound feature of the phone and you would be able to broadcast really great quality music to everyone . Audio quality on the headphone were equally good and I really dont have much to complain about it
