Hi i was using nokia 3500c for some time for its music and camera capabilities. There were certain issues with this phone i.e- No 3.5mm jack
- Speaker not loud enough
- Pathetic headphones.
Then i came across GM200. I was very impressed with the reviews on the net so i bought it on 6th june for INR 5700/- from Alfa,Mumbai.
Iam very happy to say this phone has exceeded all my expectations. The 2.1 channel stereo sound output is incredible to say the least. I am using Nokia HS28 headphone which gives amazing experience. Photos on PC are fantastic.DOLBY sound,battery life,FM with recording,voice recorder,keypad,voice clarity are amazing.Now everyday i look forward to using my phone with glee. Thank u LG for this marvel of a phone.

Its far better than china mobils dude... Qualtiy wise and both value for money wise.. sound quality is good. Its unfair to expect Apple iPod like quality :)

Guys, I wanna ask you, can we change the sms ringtone to any song/mp3 we want? and how long does the ringtone last? I had to sell my LG viewty in the past because the mp3 ringtone only last 4 seconds.It was a big let down.

bought it 2 weeks ago.
no problem with this set but want a new samsung star.
the whole box with 1 yr warranty n also i haven't removed the screenguard lamination provide with box.
my demand is INR 5000.
If some one wants it bargaining is possible.

chinese mobiles surely loud but they just plainly loud, but they don't put sense of quality sound.. i hope u understand what i'm sayin'

eerr!!! since when was audio quality and music player superiority measured in loudness of loudspeaker???
dude...there are chinese mobiles that are much louder and carry more features for a given price than any branded phns...but, does that make them the best???

Infact even if we were to consider the entire mp3 player lineup there is only apple ipod touch and SE W995 that have comparable audio quality.
The choice is easy to make for true music lover who want quality music.
Also i read someone say that there is no digital zoom for GM200...is it true.
BTW the screen also no match for 5130.

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2009is the built in woofer feature really efficient?Please dont compare this phone's speaker system to pc 2.1 speaker system. When u compare this to other models its best in class.Don't get fooled by the ads in youtube.

according to me nokia 5130 is better than gm200.its music express phone with complete accessories in box. and also in look and price...........

I bought The cute LG GM200 last month its really an amazing gadget. The music quality is superb through headphones and through inbuilt speakers, I cant express this in words you have to feel it.There is no customizable EQ setting but there are many factory preset specially designed for your hearing pleasure including the revolutionary Dolby technology.The interface(GUI) is a bit sluggish you can feel it when u play music in background. But it is not a big problem. All the basic functions are there. The 2mp camera is good,but no digital zoom.Battery backup is amazing. I could not find any flaws in it till date. So if you are a hardcore music lover go for it. It is a cost effective package. Better than other models in this price range.
