It's possible to use a song (mp3) as ringtone. You can't do this from profile configs. Just go directly on a song, options and select to use it as ringtone.

Can someone please tell me if the voice of the person who one speaks to is heard clear and loud on this phone? Is the voice of the speaker also heard clearly by the receiver on the other end? Can someone compare this aspect with the Samsung E1085T?

Brilliant little phone, come on, why are people complaining? I bought one yesterday here in Greece for €29. A cute little phone with a good FM radio with quite good sound and a basic camera. You do need a USB micro B cable but that's not going to break the bank. It is lightweight and seems to have an excellent battery life. For €29... what more do you want?!

i am using this phone more than 4 months.
its an excellent phone for calling as far as messaging concern its key pad makes noise which irratates me...
but that phone it excellent. its battery timming is awesome...
i prefer that phone only for those who makes calls more than messaging

Mihail, 25 Nov 2010It's me, again. I would like to know, does anybody else ha... moreI have a GS155 right in front of me and I tried setting the alarm like you said. It worked. Maybe you put the phone on silent or vibration mode or something. Make sure you put the time on 24-hr format. Try again.

It's me, again.
I would like to know, does anybody else have problem with the phone's alarm? I don't know how to set it. I mean, I turn the alarm on, set the time of alarm, set a melody. But when the time for alarm comes, it doesn't work.

Hi, I am from Moldova. I bought LG GS155 on November 22 for about $56 (40 euro). I've chosen it because it is the cheapest phone with slot for MicroSD card and its battery life is 600/6 hours (according to specifications at the official LG website).
About interface: it has minimum of functions, less than the simpliest Nokia phones. I was very disappointed when I found that you cannot set the left or right buttons to quick access for any function (for example alarm, calendar, stopwatch) - you can access them only from menu.
It creaks when you press buttons.
There is no memory card, no connectivity cable included. By the way, in order to connect it to PC you must have not the most popular mini-USB cable, but micro-USB type B cable, so you should buy it apart.
Its stereo headset does not have button, so you cannot start/stop conversation if your phone is in your pocket - you must hold your phone in hand and press the green/red button, respectively.
Included sounds/melodies are awful - like in very old, archaic phones.
In other words, without memory card and connectivity cable the phone sucks.

well you save money on your prepaid-card as it don´t handles mms or gprs. the mp3 player is good though..sounds good in my ears when i ride my bike. to download mp3 signals and pictures you have to connect it to a pc or put the memorycard in the computers memorycard-reader. at: www.pixowap.com you might find free mp3 signals for your phone.

why can it only store 100 pictures and 100 mp3 songs despite the memory-card ? samsung e2120 and e2121 seem to be much better then !
