LG GT405 Viewty GT now ready to hit the shelves across the UK
The LG GT 405, a.k.a. Viwety GT, first surfaced a month ago and now it is ready to head for the stores. Well, at least in the UK where it has just been released by one of the operators in the country, namely 3 Mobile.
When we first spotted the GT405 only a few of its features were known but now we know all the details.
It will come with a 3-inch resistive touchscreen of WQVGA resolution (240 x 400 pixels) and company's colorful proprietary user interface, the S-Class Touch UI. Also on board there is a promising 5-megapixel autofocus camera.
Like most of the recently announced phones in this class, the Viewty GT will feature social network integration. Preloaded you'll find a Facebook app as well as Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and Skype applications. Those will let you keep in touch with the pals 24/7.
On top of that the GT405 will sport HSDPA and Bluetooth support and will have a microSD card slot.
3 is offering the LG GT 405 Viewty GT for 15 GBP per month (around 17 euro) on an 18 month deal, which seems like a real bargain considering what the phone packs. You can also get it for 119.90 GBP (nearly 137 euro) with a prepaid card.

I so far have not found any games designed for the phone apart from the games included.. all the rest play with the emulated buttons.
