this phone has so many issues its unreal. randomly doesnt let u send texts and has serious software issues

I bought LG GW525 and my feedback is it is average but a good buy considering its offerings.
Music is too good. Camera is lil grainy; but still acceptable.
Issues with the phone I faced:-
1) Phone gets restarted all of a sudden at times.
2) The display doesn't appears at times; have to restart it then.
3) Youtube/Gmail app doesn't work.
4) internet Browser is quite un-userfriendly.
5) Battery discharges rapidly; holds on for a day and half for me.

Hey guys! I'd been trying to use LG PC Suite to sync my Outlook contacts but to no avail. It doesn't recognize the phone connected over USB. Definitely i used the LG PC suite installer cd to my laptop, but it's futile.
Any thoughts? Yes, I went to their website about the UPDATE TOOL and downloaded the same but it doesn't work. After clicking B2CAppSetup.exe (updater tool) nothing happens.

Text alert sound will either viabrat on its own or if turned off no sound even though its set to volume 7, how to set sound for text alerts?????

Good phone with the acceptable price.
There is no need to have WIFI, when 3G is ready! It will not like an iPhone or SONY X1, however, suitable for normally chatting, email, news whenever / wherever.

are you guys going nuts??, just check for the specs of the fone so that you dont need to ask if it has a wifi, check the WLAN(Wireless Local Network Connection) it says no right??, so it means it doest have a Wi-Fi capability!!!

I own this phone its is horrible it freezes, it crashes when I receive a message, it is unbareable I am going to throw out this phone and switch to a nokia 2100 at least I know it will work. I have sent it away for repair and it is still doing the same thing, and also go told that its a "normal" problem. I will never buy ANY LG products ever again!!

I love this phone!! especially the livesquare. Sounds is very good as well. no problem encountered as of the moment. This is my second LG phone, i also have the GW300 which is also very good in messaging features. The only thing i miss is the wifi which the both don't have. But all in all, its a great phone. :)

my phone has been absolutely awfull from the moment i bought it, it has frozen multiple time since i bought it (2 weeks ago), and now it wont let me send any texts!, could be a fault with my particular phone, so i will post another comment after i attempt to phone the customer care thing.

The LG GW520 is exactly the same as the gw525(aka chaterbox pro)the only difrence is the 525 has video caling nd the 520 dusnt nd the 525 dusnt hav wifi!!!!!
BTW the lg 525 is a graet phone!
