I hate this phone, I have bad memories with thes mobile .... bad quality, no update, no installation CD in the box, you can't use it as a modem, screen is very fragile, the appearance of black lines on the screen, provides blur pictures.

I unlocked this phone an installed Open Etna Android 2.2 operating system... I can use multiple Dutch SIMS, but when I came to India, no Indian SIMS will work in it.

I do not understand why and am hoping someone on the board can comment.

            - Is there a second unlock code for the Indian market? Is it possible my phone is only unlocked in Europe? Sounds fishy

            - Is there an issue with Android 2.2 I need to address in order to use an Indian SIM?

            Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Can someone please say if the performance of the GW620 using openetna is ok? Will it work on a device with T-Mobile's UK firmware? I have emailed LG and they said that they have no plans to update the device not even to 1.6
                  Thanks.

Because the Korean version of GW620 the Kh5200 (http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_kh5200_andro_1-reviews-3211.php) has the posibility to film 720p. Maybe it can be done on our phones also by software. Thanks

Show me a smart phone of about 200 Euros/Dolars that lasts 600 hours :) 600 hours which LG says is on Stand BY and in perfect conditions (LABORATORY conditions). This is how all manufacturers say!!n (Nokia,HTC,etc)

I tried my LG and in stan-by with everything OFF is stays abot 240 hours!! (10 days)

You tell your HTC Windows Phone lasts as long as HTC Says? No way! Come on man..

Lie! Battery standby time is 60 hours, not 600 :(! The battery load, as they should, but it expires after three days. If the phone is handled through the night, several hours after it is was disconected shows only 90% of battery capacity.
Permanently automatically connecting to the processes that take up resources. You must manually kill it with Task mannager which is not installed by default - you need to download it by market.
Compare with Windows Mobile (I've got HTC) android is poor... And it is not possible connect to the computer to update the version of Android. I not find any solution in LG web page.

Bluetooth works perfect for transfers if you update the phone on openetna.com like writen below in the posts. Just read the posts below and you wil find also a link on youtube where shows exactly how to update to Android.2.2

learn to switch off unwanted apps on ur phone.

imagine u have 20 light bulbs in ur room, would u like to keep them switched on all the time ??
Switch on only the bulbs u want at that moment. that will save ur battery, heating issue will go and phone life will increase.
