this phone is one of the best mobile in this universe.. its backup is amazing stands upto 13 days.. not 13 hours... so pls go ahead buy LG... east or west LG is the best... takecare my frnds .. dont buy nokia... its a dump waste of money....

This is an entry level phone which is only good for making and receiving calls. Although disconnecting an outgoing call is a major problem as stated in a previous post by a member.

Hi Friends... i have a problem
my earlier phone was a nokia set.. in that i was able to save the incoming messages which i liked in a seperate folder called saved messages.... but in this phone there is no such method... is there any other alternative to store the important message...
secondly, in messaging there is an option called "FILTER" wot does that mean... can anyone please clarify
thirdly, i am not able to connect my phone to pc with the help of pc suit inorder to make changes in contacts and calender.... but i am able to access memory card.... kindly help me with the former..
fourth, i am not able to connect my phone gprs to my pc, i am using tata docomo sim...
please help

I bought the LG GX200 last June 23, 2010. I liked the phone intially until I discovered 2 defects. First, I cannot use the "Send to many" function. This is a common and very useful function esp. if you are sending the same message to many people. Second, when sending a message and you typed in the first few letters of your contact name, it bypasses that name and you would have to scroll up looking for it. I have already brought it to the LG service center in SM Megamall(Phils.) but even with reprogramming, they were unable to fix it. The service center has reported it to their main office. Now, awaiting action by LG Phils.

This phone is really great, the battery lasts way longer than any cell phone ever... LG written on the package that its 13.5 hours for talking time, and 1700 hours for stand-by time, and it really happens, and for the dual-sim feature the phone is really great, easy to switch between sim-cards and u can answer a call easily while talking on the other sim, and the cam is great compared by any other 1.3 mp. phone. Really its agreat phone..

but i am confused wht they dnt have made..
dual sim dual active... i mean if SIM1 is on call
you will not get waiting tone of call on SIM2

sometimes flashlight at the back is not working, i don't know why. it doesn't light when i turn the torch on. are also experiencing the same? any solution?

Hmmm i was using nokia before going for this set... i was desperately in need of a dual sim phone for the cheapest cost having all features which a normal phone should have....
to give you a review.. i must say ..that the phone is good for its price tag of 3600 Rs/-
sound quality of this phone is not that good but with head phones it works well..
i'll suggest people to buy this phone.. only if they dont have high expectation.. and need only the basic needs with a phone... as with 3600 Rs/- .. you will get only this much

With this price, it’s nothing but a cellphone!
Features are very passive and SPECIALLY menu design is so childish!
It remembers me old days!
But I have not seen any cellphone whit this powerful battery.
I’m so glad of buying it.
Please moderate your expectations according the price you want to pay!
