I got this phone for free from bestbuy when i was ready for my upgrade at first i loved it and then the issues started. The battery lasts now about 6 or so hours then i would go to type something in the google search box and in the middle of typing it would close even if i rotated the phone. Then the camcorder would take clean movies then fuzzy the same for the camera. So i went to verizon and they gave me a hard time then because i only had it 3 mons warrantied it. Well i got the replacement and it works better except for the battery life. I am very disappointed with this phone. I am gonna bite the bullet and buy a used motoroa razr maxx hd like i should have done in the first place. I would not recomend this phone at all.

lars, 04 Nov 2012i don't think this will be a genuine thing, i just dont see... moreIt's not really all that big. I have the unlocked gsm version and it is just fine. It fits in my pocket perfectly. Extremely light compared to other phones that I have had. I brought it online from expansys usa.

i don't think this will be a genuine thing, i just dont see how you would carry this in your pocket, i mean it's wider than a galaxy note 2!, and that thing is MASSIVE
that and youtube videos will be stretched, or will have huge black bars, and games will look awfull,
but well the battery life is good, right?

Yes, ugly will be the reaction to the suits made by the fruit co. That's Ok. It's an android and thereby has options the ifone won't have .
I waited for these Phablets to appear since there was one a few years ago and there was a cry to have them and with Android, well the manufacturers CAN. Fruit fones will lag again for a bit.
I am unhappy with the whole NFC and want to open mine up and cut the connection. NFC allows remote access on yet-another channel and there are too many open channels with Bluetooth, WAN/4G, WiFi, (seems I missed one). It works as described. But, that is the problem.
Not as fast as my Nexus 7. But well so what, it is a phone. It is available and supports the only network that works everywhere I go in USA (verizon), so that is a big plus. Almost No dead spots like (A)nother (T)ertible (T)elephone Company.
It is larger than my Droid Razr and that is good. I move my SIM card between the two and I have the best of them both.
So, I am quite happy. I'd be happier if it came pre-rooted and with fewer useless apps like Facebook, gmail, and others. But, that's OK - I root it and remove the cruft apps hide those that need to be there because the lack of effective modular SW designs and disable a few.

where are samsung galaxy tab owners now? there is a release of a product every quarter. you won't know what to buy because they release a product half done and they start working on improving on the previous kak. n nw u r stuck with a that kak.

except s3 remaining phones optimus G / vu2 / l9 / iphone 5 / one-x are ugly for samsung fan boys . LG rocks ... best display and powerful

Optimus Vu 2 is Best phablet available in market for browsing / notes /typing etc we need a wider screen. if you dont like aspect ratio then buy the best phone with best display and best chipset for videos and other entertainment --- optimus G

I'm looking forward to it coming to Australia, the size is good, they might be on to something here. I can't stand the shape of current devices, always long shaped and limiting what you can. Cant wait.

Lg can capture screen and take note on the picture
Not a bad gadget for vacation!!
