LG K10 and G Pad X 8.0 land on AT&T store shelves on July 22

AT&T has just announced that it's expanding its portfolio of affordable Android devices with a new smartphone and a tablet, both from LG. The LG K10 and G Pad X 8.0 will both become available online and in the carrier's stores on July 22, which is this coming Friday.

The K10 smartphone will be yours for 30 monthly installments of $6, adding up to a full retail price of $179.99. On the other hand, the G Pad X 8.0 can be bought for $49.99 with a new two-year contract.

The LG K10 sports a 5.3-inch 720p touchscreen, an 8 MP rear camera, a 5 MP selfie snapper, a microSD card slot, and a 2,300 mAh battery. These are the only specs that AT&T's shared so far, and some of the others are anyone's guess considering LG is selling multiple variations of the K10 with different innards. For example, AT&T's model could have Android 5.1.1 or Android 6.0 on board; 1, 1.5, or 2GB of RAM; the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset or the MediaTek MT6753. Internal storage should be 16GB though.

The G Pad X 8.0 comes with an 8-inch 1,920x1,200 touchscreen, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 Soc (with 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a pair of 5 MP cameras (one on the front, one on the back), and LTE connectivity.
