Hi there, Now that I read about all the bugs , I think my problem is not so big.I wonder, if I change the software what will happen... maybe more bugs??? :-))))... and is it possible to change its software at all?? Other than that i found out a few tricks about this mobile phone... for example, you can make a voice record of your conversations with other people..

can't explain why...
i like this phone, dont want it break or something.........
now i was try to use the hands free...the music control buttons are not working!! arg..
only the send/end button is working..
what should i do????

thx Ediwitch for ur answer...i read the booklet, saying grayscale pics are not support to be a contact pic.. other than that i'm ok with the contact pic.
I also find out that we can set mp3 as alarm clock :D...
But I guess we Can NOT set mp3 as message alert??? can't find it anywhere.
The phone was froze for hours after I transfer files from PC to the memery card. O.o....I can't even shut it down and just wait till the battery was dead then restart it again.....Also, when I was viewing the Slice show, the phone gave me a strange restart...>.

Unfortunately I cant resolve my problem :) .. It is strange because i can set the cam to save images on the memory card and i have no problem with it.. but i cant set the cam to save videos in the memory card .. actually , i does it.. but when i try to make a video, i am told 'memory full' ( and i can see it is full only 15%) :( Funny, isnt it ? ... And this makes me very angry :-))))

Hi Ediwitch, merry Christmas to you too. Thanks, you solved my problem, I just selected mass storage and the laptop shows 2 memories so now everything's ok. Did you solve yours? I tried again, I can make clips as long as I want and it saves it on external memory.

to be able to use pics for your contacts, you have to save them to the internal memory ( phone) and the size of the pics must be 640/480 or 320/240
( i cant remember exactly. you can try)

I just got the phone...:D.........love it.....anyone know why not every pic can attach as contract pic? They are all the same..JPG format..is that anything to do with size or colors?? I already saved the phone# in the Phone memory.
And can this phone set message alert and alarm clock alert using MP3 ringtone??

If there is any other problem with ours Pradas :) we could share ti ... Dont forget to set the mobile to mass storage when you connect it with usb cable to your computer.. then.. your mobile will appear like removable disk ( you will see the both of them- your mobile phone and your memory card)They both have same folders : documents, sounds, images.... others..

so.. you are right.. maybe there are a lot of softwares... bloody LG Prada.. but.. oh my.. i like it so very much...
This is the easiest mobile phone that i have ever had... even typing short messages...:) I too dont know somebody that has this phone.. so i cant ask about these problems... Concerning your problem.. i really dont know why it is that... my usb cable works perfectly... did you set you mobile to mass storage?

I guess that our prada's aren't the same because we all have different problems. I can make videos as long as I want (depends how big the external memory card is - mine is 1 gb) after I choose the external memory for saving, but you said that you choose it but the phone doesn't let you more than the internal memory is (8 mb). Maybe we don't have the same software installed. I'm from Croatia and I don't have any friends that own prada so I can't ask them if they have the same problem as me. Maybe the software differs depending on countries. I tried everything. When I use usb cable I can only syncronise my calendar and contacts and my computer doesn't recognise my phone as a usb stick when I plug it in and it should so that doesn't work; and when I conect it with bluetooth the computer can only read the prada's internal memory!! It doesnt even recognise my external memo card. So I don't know what to do

Please owners of Prada, can anybody make video and save it straight to the memory card? ... because i am not allowed. I have to save it at first to the handset, then i can move it to the memory card. But internal memory is not big :(.. so i can only make short videos.. please tell me if somebody else has the same problem.

hi, i am completely agree with you.. so was i .. when i decided to buy Prada, i had read many sites.. and i knew what i am going to buy - something quite new!!:)) and i am happy with my mobile.. Now i want to answer to you.. maybe you do something wrong , because i can upload files from my compute streight to the memory card.. there is no problem... But my problem is that when i set the mobile to save videos straight to the memory card( i am allowed to choose where to save them- card or phone) and trying to take video,i get a message that memory is full( but on the settings i can see that memory card is almost empty) Could you share your experiences about this subject please... try to do it as i did and tell me whether you succeed :) thank you in advance

I don't understand the people who talk bad about their phones. If you don't like it, sell it and buy yourself a different one. When I wanted to buy PRADA, I went on at least a dozen sites that show it's features and I knew what kind of a phone I was buying. I saw that the battery life was poor, that it freezes sometimes, that your fingers leave greasy fingerprints, that it's camera wasn't so good, that it doesn't have a wifi and so on. But I bought it because it's different from all the others and I always had phones that are different, and I like it a lot!
I have a question though; I know that it has a 8 MB of internal memory and I can't transfer files on a memory card larger than that (because you have to put it first on multimedia memory and then transfer it on memo card), but if I can copy a file from a memory card to my laptop, why can't I copy from laptop to the card directly? It says the card is protected! Haw can I remove the protection so I can transfer directly from lap to memo card?

this handset is officially THE WORST PHONE ive ever used. Touch screen is useless for txt, battery life is truly pathetic (a day if im lucky) and ive had mine repaired 3 times now for the same software fault (freezing)

again the same... i have the option to save the videos in the external memory, but when i do it and try to make a video,i got a message: 'MEMORY FULL' . ... which is not true because the memory card is empty ...So, i am only available to make a video up to 8MB, the memory of the phone( internal memory). Does anybody has the same problem ??? please help me and share your experiences. Thank you in advance :-)

i have a problem .. when i make some video and the phone is set to save videos to the external memory, i am told that the memory is vull.. but in the settings it is shown that the memory card is empty ..
Can anybody tell me whats the problem ?

in manual I can read: "In No limit mode, you can record the voice
as an MP3. But if you record the voice during
a call or in multimedia msg mode it will be
recorded as an AMR"

On the right side of the handset, you can find the Lock/Unlock key and the MP3 player/Camera key.
The volume dual-key and the speaker/profiles key are placed on the left side of the phone
On the back of the phone, LG included another 2 Megapixel camera that features Schneider-Kreuznach lenses
