I own the phone. There are three issues with it:
1) the software is crap. If it had really good software, I'd love it. There is no dedicated web page for this particular phone either (to download games, extra software, ringtones, etc).
2) texting? Forget it. It's a royal pain. Better if there was an optional Qwerty.
3) it's not really a "business" phone (contact information for store numbers is lacking vital input options).
And lastly, I can't get it to sync with my PC, which is a huge problem.
Other than these things, I love it.
Oh, using it in broad daylight is not the best - hard to see the screen.

Indeed, texting is a little slow. I have this phone only 4 days.For sure not to compare with E serie Nokia or advanced pda. But beautiful, light, nice to play and a verry good sound quality when making calls. I also tested the e-mail client, works fine, however just as writing sms, the phone is a little slower as phones with normal keyboard.
This phone is a gadget,but a nice and good working one.It is not the phone you need in a stressy business situation but it gives you a nice feeling why playing with it in bus, train, bar ,beach , or wherever. Something special to use in a special way.I payed 370 euro for it, after all not bad for that mobile.

Well, it looks cool, but a bit slow on the touch screen here and there. For example texting on this toy, sms :) is a bit slow giving you a little stress if you were a nokia communicator addict. Head to tail is a nice phone, hope soon they will bring up some new software themes etc etc. As a "toy" is dam nice so far this new family "touch screen" has a pretty nice new kid :)

Can someone please let me know how is the signal on this phone? In Canada, GSM is 850 so how good is the strength? IF someone from Canada has it, please let me know.

I had the same concern, no worry about.
Just buy it if you like, btw Prada is not only a woman brand. look to all the cosmetics they have for man as well

This is my first mobile made by LG. Be honnest I hate Nokia, like samsung, like SE as well. now falling in love with Prada.

hehe even blondes can set up this phone. I managed to receive and send e-mail, never reached that point with other mobiles before.
btw, LG Prada is great ! just a shame they only have black, wished I had a yellow one. should I paint it ??? beuuuuu

Nice fashion phone. I am a business man using PDA and smartphones daily, but this is my evening and weekend mobile. really nice to play with it. Good quality mobile and easy to use. Not that rich on functions, but all a normal human need is there, sms, e-mail, call, mp3, video and camera.The price of the mobile dropped a lot what for sure makes it attractive now

Not perfect touch screen cause its sometimes not so sensitive to the touch. The scroll function can be awkward but the rest of the functions are simple, easy, logical, thoughtful & fun to use.
The screen/icon/fonts are all big & clear. Sound quality clear & can be very loud. Reception very strong. MP3 sound quality not bad. Camera is quite good(zoom function not too useful...only can zoom a little), but video recording is very nice. Flash light too weak. Build quality not bad for a phone made with plastic instead of metal.
Overall, this is quite a satisfying phone to own...

one more question, can you set somewhere that when MP3 songs are sent by bleuthooth they are stored on the mem card instead of the main mem ?

I finally gave in and got the LG Prada on contract. It always appeared on the big side to me but when you're using it it's perfect. The scroll function can be awkward but you can always use the volume keys for this. The best thing so far for me has to be the screen size, i've got a couple of films on my memory card and watching them in landscape mode on the way to work is great.
