once the phone is plugged into your pc via the usb cable, your computer should recognbise the new found hardware. if it does not, insert the driver cd that was suppliedd wwith the phone. once installed your phone should appear in "my computer" as a file alternatively a dialogue box will automatically open on your pc asking what you want to do with the phone. select open to view files. if you have found the phone on my computer double click and open the folder. inside the folder should be other folders labelled mp3/music and pictyures, double cvlick on mp3 and drag the songs of your choice which are already stored on your computer into the mp3 folder, this should take a few seconds/mins oince this is done, disconnect your phone from the computer and the songs will be stored on your phone. be carefull!! there will be two folders for each thing on the phone eg two mp3 folders, one is for the memory card on your phone and one is for the phone's internal memory., yoiu want to store mp3s on the memory card. this works a little easier on a mac where the phone comes up on the desktop automatically

have to say this is one of the most easy phones to use (and i've had quite a few phones in the past lol), i thought texting would be a nightmare but i could'nt be more wrong! its a doddle to ues so fluid! brilliant LG! 10/10
on a minus side i would advise people NOT to use the Prada case as this does cause marks and scratches on the phone (which i've found through using it)...

Hi, can anyone help on how to go about downloading music from the PC to the phone?
I need a stp by step info on how to transfer music and other files to the phone, the fact that i can't get the hang of this is making me dislike the phone, but it's just too pretty a phone to be hated....someone please help!!!!!!

P.S i spoke on this phone for about 5 hours straight,

hey, battery isues for you guys, ive been using this phone since the day of the release and there is absolutely no problems with it, i even go some nights with playing a game on the train, and then going home and leaving it on the sofa forgetting it, and then on the train to work, no charge a whole day and battery is 2 bars
so for all those people who have problems with the battery - you have a fake PRADA phone as mentioned in other forums
you have to look for the software on your PRADA KE850 to make sure it is the real software - most easly can be found if u go to "themes" and if u have PRADA theme, or "Black theme"
the real one is "PRADA" theme

I met somebody saying he could add the 850 mhz bandwidth bt reflashing the chipset? Is this true or a farse? If this is possible what is this software they are using?

This phone is great in design but kills when it comes to battery life. How on earth you can pay so high to have such a low battery life. when everyone is giving you as much as 5 hours to 7 hours of talkitime, this phone just 3 hours. Is it justified ? i wish all the luck to this master piece.

I like the phone and it has really good features. The only downside of the phone is the battery life, it is really poor and in 10 years of having a mobile phone, it is easily the worst in this area. LG are really going to have to up their game in this respect.
Also the texting is no where near as good as the Motorola RAZR. If LG address these problems in future then they will definately sell more phones.

I really love this phone. It's really cool, but I have such problem... I can't synchronize it with PC because my PC can't find some driver... it calls LG: 1CDC and 1MS and 1 DPS... If u had the same problem or know the solution please help me...

I got the Prada phone free when I joined T-Mobile. First impressions were very good, loved the style (although the Prada logo is a bit too pimpish)Used the phone for a day & realised it wasn't for me. Although in general it is easy to use, I found texting to be quite irritating. You really have to concentrate otherwise you end up pressing the wrong letters. You certainly can't text as you walk.
There aren't many faults with this phone, but the faults it has are enough to put me off owning one.
The biggest downfall for me is the battery life, it is truly terrible!! It doesn't even last half a day when used regulary. You can turn off the back light to conserve energy, but that's just hassle I could do without.
I've just sold it on Ebay for £250, now I need to find another phone!

I'm from Australia and really want one of these... they're not available in stores yet but people are selling them on Ebay Australia (they've obviously been purchased overseas). If I were to buy one off ebay, would it work here in Australia? Would I be better off waiting?
