Comment : -- " i have this phone, it's very lush so far, but my main problem is how to connect it to my laptop. I've installed the software and connected the phone to the laptop physically by the enclosed USB cable, but in the LG Mobile Sync menu, at the bottom it simply says "Cannot connect to mobile phone. Check connection". How do I solve this?"

******* i had the same problem you need to change the settings in Settings>Connectivitiy>USB> Data Service - hey presto!

I have the LG Prada and i love it! disappointed with the Camera! its not good when your in a night club or that - then again when you spent a year with the K800i no camera phone seems worthy.

I noticed ppl are commenting on a QWERTY keyboard! this would be perfect the txt function is a bit fiddly if ya have fat fingers.. lol. i have found this fish tank that ppl have referenced! any ideas? the phone is so exclusive LG have yet to list it on there own website. lol

roll on the dedicated websites cant wait for the themes and stuff that will follow, have to say disappointed that there is no option to use an mp3 for msg alerts! sigh!

This phone is perfect and such a vocal point, all the kids want one! i'm first in my work and everyone is pure loving it!

You shouldent need to sync it (well i didnt) just open up the I and H drives from my computer if you want to put images/mp3s/videos on it. If you want to sync your phone book then you will need to check your com ports are set up correctly.

If anyone wants to see the user interface in use, this is the best video review I've seen so far, it gives a very good impression of how everything works.

Got this at the Carphone Warehouse on the £35 contract with 500min + 500txt per month.

As far as style is concerned, it's a 10/10 for sure.

Speaker quality is better than the KG800s terrible speaker.
The virtual key pad is nice and big, although they really should have included the qwerty keyboard.

The camera flash is more like a torch than a proper flash.

...and why have they put the memorycard slot under the battery. This means taking the back cover then the removing the battery so that you can insert/remove the mem card.

I like that since there is no actual keypad, that extra space really goes a long way when viewing videos/pictures.

Bottom line is if you want pure style and a good phone without the bad bits from the KG800 Chocolate, then get this!

                        @ n{ax

What I mean is that you can clearly see a querty-keyboard on screen in this picture:

                        http://www.xonio.com/bildergalerie/x_bildergalerie_v3_24264474.html?show=5

Could someone explain this picture? Is there a software version of the LG Prada with an onscreen querty keyboard?

                        Thanks, Axel, Amsterdam Holland

Work at Carphone, we've played around with it for a couple of days... and i have to say shockingly... i am VERY pleased with it... when i heard LG were teaming p with PRADA i dreaded another fashion phone liek the Chocolate (piece of rubish!) or the Motorolla V3i Docle Gabbana... also.. RUBISH! Been really shocked with it, the touch screen works beutifully, very easy to text on or dial! It looks great as well! But thats about it to be honest... the menu system is a bit basic, but thats not a bad thing, means it's easy to use. The cammera like all LG cammeras is still average, battery life seems good. My favourite thing has to be the main menu, where u can have it look liek you are looking down on a pond and there is a coy carp swimming around on your phone and if you tough the water it comes and feeds of your finger anywhere on the screen... things liek that make phones! it will be a MASS selling fashion phone, but it does look good, bit over priced at £400 in my opinion but i can see it droping in price in 3 months time by £100. If you really dieing to get a hold of this phone, stocks are already low aroudn the country, how ever carphone does have them on mail order for the stores so pop in to store and see them, they can order one in for you, they should have a demo for you to play around with as well. The best Tarrif for it at the moment is Orange, who are doing it on the Dolphine 35 (£35, 18 months, 500 mins, 500 txts across netwroks, and a magic number very 6 months) phone is £19.99, but you can get them to make it free for you if you ask ;) all in al i think you will enjoy the phone, it is a nice preview of what to expect from the i-phone, whihc i can't wait for!
