The D900 is no longer the worlds thinniest slide phone. Samsung has a new one coming out. This may not be as slim as the D900 but then it's not as wide neither and fits in the hand better. This phone has Flash support and comes with several animated wallpapers.

Ok I got this phone today. Anybody who has owned any of the recent LGs will be familiar with most of how it works. Writing messages and using the camera has not changed at all. Despite what some reviews have said there is an equalizer for the MP3 player and also you can turn off the home page keys image. The phone is loud and clear when playing music and ringtones. Not actually made a phone call yet. The screen is amazingly clear and clean looking. Using the scroll wheel takes some getting used to. As I said I've only just got it so I cannot comment on the battery life yet. If you have any questions about it feel free to drop me an email.

I've had a go on one already - it's got a good feel to it, simple to use with a good weighty, premium feel. It looks stunning. Pretty good spec all round - okay, not a 3.2MP camera, but who really cares when it looks and feels top end? Think how expensive Sirocco was (what, surely not too expensive with poor reception?) - and LG appear to have found their mark again by finding a balance between design and functionality with mass market appeal. Perhaps one or two other manufacturers are missing a trick or 2 at the mo. Nice one LG, at last!

Yes Carphone Warehouse is selling them from tomorrow. Phones 4 u, the kings of harassment, have the poster outside saying it's in store but they wont have it until next week. Muppets. It feels nice in your hand with a reassuring weight to it. It is not touch buttons but proper buttons. Still the same stupid way of specifying who to send a text message to. Screen quality is excellent as is the camera. I'm thinking of getting it tomorrow but the battery life is putting me off as is my past experience with LG phones.
