The KF510 is typical of LG .. Crap.
My son loved the look of it and he wants a phone to play his music while he's out and about. After a lot of hard saving and work he bought one.
After owning it for 3 1/2 months it has been in 5 times for repairs and 1 new replacement phone. The poor kid has only had use of the phone for almost 2 weeks out of this time ...
first problem was the day after he bought it .... it wouldn't play the music like it did the first night.
The sales man said the memory card was no good but we have tried 3 card and they all work on the other phones that we have. He then said the music was put on the memory card wrong, funny about that cause we did it the way the book said.
Couldn't get back to the shop for a few days as it was still not playing the music and we wanted a refund but was told "no" its 8 days and you only have 7 days for a refund or exchange.
That was the beginning of the hassles, wouldn't play music and buttons not working and a dead battery (according to them).
LG have finally sent him a new replacement phone after a lot of complaining and that had several different problems so it got sent back the next day and they had the cheek to tell me it was tested b4 the sent it to us ...lol.
Been another week so far and haven't heard anything from them yet ....
I think Lg use us aussies for testing their products.
This is the last Lg product I will ever buy .....
almost every thing Lg make is crap.

I've been here a lot for support before I bought this phone. Thanks all it really helped now I have this phone and I just wanna say it's a gr8 phone but my on/off button is loose but still works fine. Everything else ROCKS XD

lol, 08 Jan 2009umm guyz isnt it weird my friend has this phone and it has ... morehey its not a camera coz this phone is not 3g,its a light sensor which modifies the screen lightening according to the lightening conditions so that the battery could last for a long time.

@ AAron you can move file from internal memory to card, only problem is that received file size is restricted by internal memory to 15mb.
Dont know about folder lock but i managed to install a couple of java games, also it has a data wallet application for storing sensitive information

does the red version also have a red keypad or a black keypad. in some pictures its red and in some its black.

Hey LOL , tell ure friend that the "small circle" on the screen is a light sensor and not a camera. It serves to save enery and extend the battery life. LG510 is NOt a 3G enabled phone

i heard that supports only up to 2gb that is a lie i have put a memory card up to 4gb and it is full with music and video and it runs perfectly
