hey i just got this phone for muh bday and i luv it great features and yes the image quality is good on sub and the bigger screen it doesnt move that much and it can survive a fall it doesnt wobble as much people say it does
i just wana know how to put piks for different people when they call? can any1 tell me???
overall great phone for its money

howdy hmm i just wondering wen u take photos and u close the phone the display comes up on the sub LCD screen and r the piks gd qaultity .

yeh i guess, i got used to my nokia 3315, solid as a brick. When i first got the KG245 it did move side to side, but now it just feels too loose. Maybe i'l just stop opening it lol. Overall, still a great fone, heaps of features for the dollar

nah...i dont think they'll replace it just cos the flip moves a little...everyones is like that

YEP, supposedly this fone doesnt support wap in the vodafone service, only thru GPRS. They're supposedly working on it, hopefully they find a fix on it soon.
Still cant get over that side to side movement of the flip, it feels so loose, everytime i pik it up i feel it move. Bad build quality, anyoen think they'l replace it? lol

Yeh i kno what u mean. I think the photo only shows up in the main screen, when u open the phone up.

How i can do pop-up photo to the top LCD from contacts when call come in? I made Photo 48x48-resolution and after that append it to some contact. But when call come in from that contact - photo not pop-up to the LCD, only phone number and name from contact on LCD, not picture. :(

yeh my phone does that moving 1mm from one side to the other too... but i guess thats how it was built..

Anyone here have their fone develop that dreadful wobbly syndrome when the flip is closed? mine tends to move 1mm left and right loosely.

Hey Dylan just answerin ur question: This phone can’t take videos and it has 3 games that come with the phone. One is this balance game where you balance the other is one where you drive and the other is one where you throw… these are just very basic games. I don’t know what a vga camera is thought. But the camera is good quality.

Hay guys i was just wondering does any one know where to get mp3 ringtones from for this phone. every time i try to download off like vodafone live and things like that it doesnt work. help please!

To KC, u need to take a foto using 48x48 resolution (it wont work with the higher resolutions), then it'll automatically save it in the phonebook folder.
To Confused. Not much compatible with the fone so just get a bluetooth dongle for $16 on ebay and u can put mp3s from ur computer to the fone, plus pics (jpegs, gifs)

2 problems i found with this fone from the time ive had it is the one i stated b4 (screen shuts down, after the time u want the backlight to last, once the alarm has gone off...tho i stated the fix) and recently the subscreen kinda stopped working cus it only showed the top line i.e battery, reception symbols...with the time and date just blank...i tried to fix it by pressing the side buttons and opening and closing the clamshell but to no avail... so i just restarted the fone and whala... dont kno what caused it, i was just mucking around with the fones features.... looks like LG's true build quality is starting to show...not good not good!

That's great news Shannan!!... I've got an eMac, and I'll need to buy a bluetooth D-Link USB adapter. I needed to know that the KG245 was compatible with my eMac before buying the D-Link.

i bought this phone recently and have found its great. bluetooth is a real positive and the camera is high quality. if u are having a tough time choosing for phones in the 150 to 250 price range i reccommend buying this one over the Nokia 6101. nokia has infared lg has bletooth. Oh n Nokia has 3.5 memory while this phone has 7.8 memory which means you can store way more stuff. oh and its also cheaper. th only con is it doesnt have video camera but thats it the rest is great.

Yeah, U can out any photos you've taken on the camera, or sent via blutooth on the front screen. I reccomend resizing them first in a program like photoshop, makeing them exactly the right size (96x64 pixels) for the sub lcd. Then just view the pic under my foler and images, press options, set as wallpaper, and select sub lcd. easy!!
