i think this phone is great!
the torch is really bright. i waz just wundrin tho i have this small thing next on my screen, it kinda looks like a snowflake, duz eny1 no wat that is??? please reply asap

Hey everyone, I just got the phone yesterday and I'm quite happy about it. I'm a bit jealous of my mum's more hi-tech Nokia phone but seeing as I haven't had a mobile for over a year, there's not much room for complaint here. I love the design... it's so sleek and pretty and light. I'm not having any problems with the backlight or anything - it's fine. I just tested it then and it stays on as long as I'm pressing the buttons. True enough, it doesn't have video features, but the camera quality is pretty good for the price, and if you really want some video, then just pay a couple hundred dollars more to get a more fancy phone. The games are kinda weird, but I'm not too hard to please... as long as I can call and text and take photos, I'm pretty happy. So I'm quite satisfied with this phone.

I think its great :D. I got it for Christmas it seems fine the features are excellent and i think the menu is fine. The only thing i dont like is the short battery life of the phone. The only thing that it also dosn't have is a video recording. But all for $109 :).

I love it :D.This is my first phone and i just got it for christmas. I think the menu is fine and mine hasnt stuffed up at all :).
The only thing that is missing is video recording but all the other features for only $109!! It could be a bit better if the battery life was longer though..

if your considering about getting this fone, dont be fooled by the design of it, it is not good at all, the menu layout is disgusting, with only 8mg of memory you are limited to only 4 mps, its very touchy and gets fustrated at times, lg has very bad fone models, i recomend, nokia or sony ericcson.

"well mel wen u go to take a foto there are 2 options 1:go into album and 2: it looks lyk a little pic of a scale well anyway go into tha scale pic and it goes into camera settings then change the size from 320x240 to 48x48 then press ok and wen u take a foto with 48x48 zoom it will have a little pic of a phone book so clik on that and u get 2 choose which contactu want tha pic on. well hope this helps and can anyone tell me how to get tha pics off m y fone and onto tha pc i will be sooo grateful thanx" by rachel? I think...anyway thanks for this info coz I have this phone and I have been looking for bloody ages now how to do this (see yahoo answers under aussie3) and noone seem to know until now!! yay!! once again thanks.
as for getting pics onto the computer...get a bluetooth connection with usb for your pc and go to your album under options then click on send via bluetooth and walah!!

A WARNING TO ALL,
DO NOT I REPEAT, DO NOT buy this phone, if you have and its under 30 days return and get a better phone...LG phones are unreliable...from battery problems, to phone speaker - my phone is stuck on speaker or I cant hear the caller and the phone is under a month old ....
Not trying to be a jerk but this phone or should I say this company makes bad phones

Thanks i wasn't sure to get the nokia 6101 because the power lasts a long time or the lg kg245 because of uts style and momory but its not hard now.........THE LG KG245

I would like to no if you can take photos on the little screen at the front of the phone and can you display photos on it?? Also can you edit the photos and put like borders around them and change them to black and white???

The main reason i chose this fone over the 6101 was due to its bluetooth. Plus its got more memory and doesnt have an antenna sticking out. The 6101 can take vids but with only 4.4mb, i doubt recording will be long. And tho it has a usb connection, a bluetooth dongle (AUS$15 on ebay) can fix that problem for the LG.
