i got my phone yesterday 13/12/2007
i relised it would let me play tones so i went to reset all settings & i trned it off & now its asking me for a security code & i have no idea WHAT SO EVER what it is i am really freaking out because my dad brought me this phone Soo PLASEE someone get back to me on how to fix this many thnakss

This is my 3rd LG after C2500 & KU250. and i realy dont like this kg290. no usb cable, memory slot under battery, no device driver cd, bad cam shot (for 1,3 mpx), small internal memory cap, and worst thing NO MULTITASKING. better pick ku250 or kg300.

It's a shame this phone does not support voice dialling.This phone also cannot open pictures that are greater than 1280x960 pixels,so ask your friends to reduce pixel size before taking a picture and bluetoothing it to you.

Could someone please explain how to download mp3s to this phone? when I connect USB, theu ask to insert the external memory, I don't have one... so, I cannot download songs or what?

i am getting this phone for christmas and am very intrested to find that it dosn't come with a cable. well i've been searching around and someone has said that the LG C3380 cable works with the LG RHINO so i will try this, i hope ive helped

I got this phone 2 weeks ago as a back up to my Motorola Razr. For the £35 from Tesco its a good phone , not as intuitaive as razr and trying to source usb cable is annoying but overall ok and mines silver!

For the USB connection I have discovered that it works with the data cable from my LG C3380. I didn't find yet the drivers for KG290 but I,m working on it. The Bluetooth connection is working fine and is enough for the moment. I'm very pleased with this phone (look, functions)

this is a one off cheaper phone .its not one of the main bigger sellers. no one has usb cables in there boxs and ppl are having problems with bluetooh . i say take them back to be honist.

It is practically impossible to use this phone as MP3 player. In the phone package was no USB cable (even if my manual says that the USB cable is included) and I cannot get it anywhere. Expansion memory slot is under battery so using card reader is not usable alternative. Also there is no time (only song time) shown in MP3 player, phone has no screensawer (only black screen) and I cannot minimize the player during playing so I cannot use this phone as watch when playing. The MP3 player functions are very basic and there is no quick button for MP3 start. The earphones I got with the phone are not usable for music (no bass) and I cannot find anywhere reduction from 2,5 mm jack that is in the phone to 3,5mm. Standard reductions on market does not work with this phone.
