can any1 verify this is for real??
"If anybody had any sort of sound problem in his KG300 set he may customise his setting according to him,it is very easy just try.
1)type 2945#*# on the screen,you would see "engineering mode" on screen with many functions listed.
2)go to "audio" option,you would see many options inside it like
set mode
general
loudspeaker
headphone
firstly set mode "general" by going inside set mode.
3)then clik "general" option
4)you would see "melody" option inside it
click on it
5)there are volume levels inside it.click on volume6 and there you will be able to see something like 160 mentioned.this is volume level,this can be increased till 255.
6)but i recommend not to increase it beyong 210,because it may distort the sound quality and may affect the speaker of the phone.If u set somewhere nearabout 204 - 210 ,you will see very good results of sound
7)further there is "FIR" option inside "general" menu,set it to "FIR 5",it will improve the receiving sound quality durind a call to a great extent.
8)after u have made changes press back button u will see a option "update parameters",press ok .and see the difference yourself.if there is further any problem please feel free to mail me at shakti1174@indiatimes.com"

sarosh u can adjust the brightness.follow the order..
menu>settings>display>lcd backlight
as for zoom lg kg300 oinly seems to have 2x and that too i guess is digital (which is no good).but the megapixels amount is generous so it takes pretty neat pics for a mobile phone camera

hi im from karachi.. any paki user tell me yaar that is there any option for screen brightness.. si i can increase or decrease the brightness of my screen... my cousin bought kg300 from dubai it doesnt have brightness option.. and what is the maximun zoom of the camera...2x or more in still photography.

hi, i have one question. few days back i received a fax message on my cell,when it was running i canceled the message,but the icon of fax still shows it that one message is pending to be read.Can anybody give solution on this ,will be thankful

Hi Sujoy,
to add network message from screen like"Nehru Place",just follow steps
1)Clik messeges icom from menu.
2)inside it you will see 5th option "broadcast message",click on it.
3)the first option "receive mode"
.click on it and "on" the option in it.
4)By doing this you will see that you are able to receive network messages now

Hi, I am using my KG300 for around 6 months. Every feature I find is quite good, but one thing, if I want to put on the option of where I am i.e. let's say South Ex., or Connaught Place whenever I move, how can I put the option on???

Hi,
to remove operators logo go to "settings" icon from menu,then click the 2nd option "Display" in it.Further the 8th option
"show operators name", click on it and set it off ,the Operators logo will not display on ur screen

Hi,all KG300 users,
some users are facing problem of how to remove network message from screen like"Nehru Place",just follow steps

4)By doing this you will see the network messages are off now ,you can again activate
this by clicking "on" option.this is very easy

Hi I have a new LG KG300. Every thing is fine in it but for one thing that it has no SMS messaging memory only stores up to 70 SMS in it. Can you tell me or give me any support on this one to enhance the SMS memory. Or can I store SMS on Memory card.

i had a querry...how does one remove the operator logo...although i removed the same from settings,i'm unable to remove the location indicator{eg.-andheri(w)}...which is quite irritating.
also noticed a thing dat it does not appear wen i use digital or analogue clock as my wallpaper...
please help..

every option is good..But somthing big bad thing..first at of all..not any security..and big bad more is .not call voice good in hand free .u cant hear properly that wat the caller saying...im so bored....with this...
