Hi...Had a few queries...I was thinking of buying this mobile. Can anyone pls tell me if we can use MP3 files as ringtones on this piece? I was going thru' its specofocations and i could not find this feature. I suppose somebody who has used this phone would be in a better position to answer my query. Pls help..

I last week bought KG-300 on recomdation of my girl friend on a special occasion. Its a superb phone. It costs in Karachi local around PKR 10,000.00. For the price its a steal. The look of phone is classic.The curves are outclass. The color is black my favorite. The most notable and worthy part is its LCD screen which is large and display quality is more than what I expected.Vibrant clors. The clarity of display is even better than K-750 and many SE models. Altough I am big Sony Ericsson fan and have used J-230, K-700, K-510, 300 and 200, but this LG KG 300 is noticebly better than my previous sets. THe music player's sound quality is awesome; and its built in equalizer change the beat and its effects to suit the number played. THe 2 MP camera gives superb photos with adjutable COLOR TEMPERATURE. The camera results are impressive with pin sharp details. Even if you blow up the picture on 17 inch PC monitor the pixels remain intact, however bigger scren Plasma TVs would show pixel grid. THe phone incorporates built in image viewer in which you can zoom and alter the original size of the taken image. The ringtones in default is also very clear and has variety of superb rhythems to suit one mood. THe music and video down loading can be conviniently done via USB cable provided with the set. I have installed a 512 Micro SD is more than sufficient to store dozens of stills and movie clipings. The Video recording is far better than SE K-510 and fast motion scenes are handled with smoothness and pixel grid is bare minimum. The photo saving steps are bit slow but this minor flaw is compensated with a thmbnail view option of images which you can easily scrol through in a single go. THe voice clarity on its ear piece is outstanding and its hands free option also gives a clear audio and you can easily hear the person on its external speakers. The FM recording is definetely a PLUS, I think no other phone in its price range gives this feature. THe key pad is very soft and perfect to write long SMS messages. Besides these the KG-300 features host of other features which a modern set should have. Many people have complained of its short battery life, well this is true but it should not give rise to a serious issue, for three days the battery remains at centre level even if you have long chats, but if over fiddle with multimedia options then the battery level drops considerably as the LCD display consumes batery power. But for a normal user like me the supplied battery is not a problem at all. Over all the LG KG-300 is beautiful mobile; and is highly recomended to all new buyers who want a good quality communication device with latest features at an affordable price.

a dam good phone .main features.good camera,can rewind forward video player,call recorder,quality music player,fight mode,u can use this phone as a pendrive aslo fansatic a good feature but..... a very poor battery life ...todays mobile usage low battery not recommended .. battery not even lasts for one day..if u are on music than not even 2 songs full u can listen ur battrey is half down

hi ans for some queries
media format supported amr,aac,wav,mp3,mp4,3gp only.
it records fm in wav or amr, quality is not very good but ok
it can play fm,mp3 in background and with loudspeeker,
we can not download themes and can't lock folder.
blootooth version is 2.0 and. it takes approx 15 sec to transfer 1 mb file.
it's display is very sharp.
camera is slow. a second capture time
stores 70-80 smses (50 phone + 25-30 of your sim)
no java installation possible. contack lg service center to see if any java upgrade is launched

I bought this fone last month as it had everything what I needed, 2.0 MP camera, FM radio, music player compact design, competitive price.
I am very content with the performance of the fone so far. I am still not too sure about the battery life as when i used it in India , then I had to recharge it almost every 2nd day and when I took flight to Germany , it was showing almost half battery and after 15 hours when I wanted to use it to make a call while landing it said no battery, shutting down.
Here in Germany it is doing great with no battery issues. Thats what as I said before, I have to check carefully how the battery performs.
The butons are cute & easy to use. The menus are also great with a new feature of directly jumping to specific menu items by clicking a number istead of one by one scrollong down, which makes things faster in LG.
It has additoinal slot for SD trans flash card which is good.
The pic quality is very good. The camera has lots of features to make pic taking a happy experience. The video cam is also good.
In short it is a great fone with loads of features in a small package.

Thanks LG for providing such a nice mobile, features whcih are very important for today are More then 2mp cam., Voice recording, FM Radio, Video recording, sound quality and also video quality Memory extendable are most important things which it have. Some one can tell me Can we download theems or lock the folders through passward like images, videos, massages and massages?

Pls ans my questions :
1) Is the Bluetooth ver 2.0 ? is it slow or comparable to other new bluetooth phones ?
Coz just y'day i saw Samsung E250, it boasts bluetooth but it took ages (abt 25 mins) to transfer a 4 MB mp3 song on to it.
2) How is the daylight readability of this phone ?
3) Is the camera really slow ?
4) My LG G1800 can store upto 275 sms, does this new phone store 60-70 sms only ?
5) Can i install games ? other phone sw like smartmovie, camera related sw on this phone ?
I'm thinking upgrade to this phone as the USB charger is very helpful for me being aroung a pc most of the times. Also the sound quality rocks, with expandable memory u can carry lot of songs when out on a journey. Screen is big, resolution is good.
it has bluetooth. and what more can u expect from a phone ?

tht is the mobile which contain every thing itssssssss too good lash pash for music and every other thing blue 2 tht is marvilous..
