In my case, youtube can be played on the default browser only. I installed bolt and opera but I'm using them for regular browsing and downloads.

Definitely not a good one, better call LG service center for them to be able to fix it.

how do you guys play youtube vids on this phone while using wifi? i've no luck so far. the default browser seems to be the problem for me its just stuck at buffering and then times out.
i installed bolt browser yestereday and for a while was able to play youtube videos on wifi. but today it wont play and just redirects to the default browser where the buffering thing happens again.
is there a way to remove the default browser and just use opera mini or bolt?
also how do u edit the internet profiles? i can add new ones but i cannot edit the default ones there like the "streaming" profile. any help is appreciated! gracias!

got a problem with my bluetooth/ wasnt able to receive files but i can actually send files to other phones/ done necessary troubleshooting but no improvement/

i installed an external memory card into my 555e.but any time i go to external memory,it asks me to format that memory card.previously i was using nokia,and i never had that problem.since i have never had to format a memory card,could you direct me to how it can be done?

Bought this phone for the wife couple of months ago and just yesterday, it can no longer send text messages. Kept on trying/pressing SEND but got no reaction. Turned off and turned on the phone, then it was ok. Afterwards, noticed that the phone became warm and when we pulled it out from it's case there's a blue screen appearing! Any idea what this is? We cannot turn off the phone and whatever we do it just don't respond. We pulled out the battery and noticed that it too is very warm. Dunno if you guys have experienced this. Hope somebody could give an advise/suggestion/recommendation regarding this. Thanks guys.

this lg km555 is one good phone when it comes to feature and design it is really a worth it phone when it comes to price the sleek and chick style oh i am so in love in this phone i had it last may but suddenly someone steal it on my own bedroom last July wish i had the opportunity to spent more time on this phone cause this is so good wish i could block my phone or wish i could get it back!!!!

Luigi, 20 Oct 2010guys, Can I enjoy a longer battery life if I change the bat... moreanyone can tell you that not all mp4s are the same. to be sure, download an mp4 converter, Leawo mp4 converter for one and you can convert any video to 320 x 240 mp4. good luck!

if you click on that link you will notice that they are pretty much identical in every single line item (except for the video frame rate and the fact that the star doesnt have a 3.5mm jack) so it all boils down to personal preference.
truth is I LOVE my skullcandies... i cant live without them. so when i found out that the samsung uses the same proprietary headset jack, i decided to steer clear from it. and the sound quality of the LG is just HEAVENLY! my bro even loved the sound that came out of the skullcandies from this phone that he even dared say its better than his ipod touch's.
I can never tell the difference tough.. hehe but wmy personal preference tells me that
without the 3.5mm jack... i never consider any phone.
but if you're a samsung fan (i had 3 samsung phones in the past and it all broke down after 3 months so count me out) the star wifi is the phone to go.
but if you want a reliable, music oriented touch phone, but dont have the money for an Iphone ( or a vivaz!) between these 2 I choose the LG

If you can find a battery that fits, as long as its authorized so the warranty wont be voided, and has a hight mAh rating, why not? Imma ask the shop tomorrow if they have a bigger battery, i'll update you soon,

Hey guys, i seem yo have to bring my km555 to the shop tomorrow, im having issues with the touch screen crapping out on me all the time. no biggie, thats what warranties are for right? wish me luck.

can i confirm if the screen color is somewhat yellowish? the contrast is poor. i am planning to buy but as i have tested it on the store, the color display is quite poor. not vivid colors. and somewhat yellowish, the black is not black like what is on the picture here.. do you experience the same?

I liked it!! , i loved it, i surf via wifi at home, its handy and dont have any problems with it so far!!!
