i just bought this phone Last week... the features is "wow"....
it has great sound quaLity..u dont nid to use speakers...
and it's user-friendLy...
it has the "taLent" of nokia and the "caLiber" of iphone..
and yeah...it's Lightweight..

I suggest that if you're going to use the speaker of the phone for playing mp3s, try to buy an external speaker in order for you to get the most out of it and protect the phone as well. On KM555, you do have an option to change the dolby preset but I don't think you'll hear the difference if you use the speakerphone.

speakerphone is good but you'll appreciate the sound if you'll use a headset or probably an external speaker. 6300 is good as well but for me this KM555 is better. I'm not using the speaker in playing music so I'm not sure whether it's durable or not.
The shiny thing at the side of the casing probably plastic. The phone is lightweight as well bec of the materials used.

i like the design of this phone, but i have several question :
1. how bout speaker phone quality? is it comparable with nokia 6233's stereo speaker or at least nokia 6300? i really love the clarity of 6233's speaker phone.
2. is this phone's material used lots of plastic? the shiny edge of this phone, is it made from metal or just brushed plastic?

It does play mp4 files but not all bec you need to check the encoding, I suggest try to convert it using a video converter using 30fps or 15fps for mobile, it works. You can download games and applications at gallery.mobile9.com

1) Xperia has capacitive touchscreen and this one is resistive. Capacitive touchscreen has faster response due to the fact that it only requires to detect your finger unlike resistive wherein you need to register a 'press'for it to be recognized. But resistive touchscreens allow the use of other objects like stylus unlike capacitive touchscreens you cannot use stylus.
2) when you watch youtube on the phone, it converts it to 3gp directly on the phone itself bec it goes to m.youtube.com which is the mobile version.
3) I love the audio quality of this one as oppose to my Ericsson G900.
4) Yup, there's firmware upgrade for this phone as well

..i love this phone,my first touch phone, bought it a week ago, nice features, especially playing music.nice qwerty keypad, camera(though it doesn't have flash) ,widgets and UI,
..just got some concerns regarding the video, it says it can play mpeg, 3gp but when i put one in my phone,it says, unsupported file..what format do it really plays?..one thing is there any downloadble apps, widgets, themes, games for this phone?..hope anyone could help..overall this phone is good for budget consumers..

does this km555e has 3G, i read in an earlier post that it goes have 3G but many reviews said otherwise. Reviews said that it has no 3G but is compensated with wi-fi.Is it true? In this sense, is the LG GS500 a slightly better phone coz it has 3G but NO wi-fi but camera is only 2mp...
