for those who will going TO buy this phone, after purchasing, drain the battery of ur new phone,, when the battery has drained, charge ur phone for 13 hrs, for its INITIAL CHARGE,, best, charge it for 15 hrs for best performance of the battery, it will give u 48 hrs for normal use,

I have installed the Opera Mini for better browsing experience. Though, I seldom browse using celphones. The default browser sucks. For PHP7500 price, it's acceptable.

Hi guys,
It is my first time to use LG cellphones and i got this model, on the first time time i use this cellphone it fells good it is light weight and compact you even noticed even in your pocket.
The UI is good, but the touch screen is not so responsive, the call is clear and the sound is better.
Regarding the browser it is fast also using wi-fi, you can use Opera mini if u want I choose opera mini 4.2 it is fast using wi-fi, i didn't try yet to use GPRS or EDGE, maybe later i will give you feedback.
Overall this cellphone is good. If you are social network fan it is already have embedded application on the phone, facebook, twitter and myspace.

[deleted post]It really depends on your preference. They are both good phones. I have KM555, my wife has the Star wifi. The performance of LG is bit slower than Star. KM555, for me, is more ergonomically designed than Star. Sounds for music player are both good though LG has loader sound. LG has the 3.5 jack for earphones which I like because I can use my fave earphones. Star has the proprietary earphone jack that uses the charger port.

Just bought this one this afternoon. So far so good, fits my needs. I was choosing between Corby S3653W and this phone. I decided to get this one because of the style that fits me. The other one is more appropriate for teens or young ones.
