Since this is my first LG phone, i was a bit in doubt before buying this amazing phone..This phone is truly value for money..the best part about this beauty is its BATTERY..Come on guys i`ve been using cell phone for the last 12 years and be it the business phone, multimedia rich phone or the entry level phone, i have never ever seen such a good and no doubt an excellent battery performance..6 days and still going strong and not even a singe drop in the battery bar..Excellent work done LG...
1.The music player is very good
2.Decent camera with video recording(Sine its a VGA)
3.Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP (Its not much of a concern)
4.GPRS (No EDGE)
5.External Memory support (Micro SD upto 4GB)
6.Very good screen (Even visible in direct sunlight)
7.Excellent network reception (Excellent sound in the earpiece so u get to hear each and every thing even when u r in very noisy surrounding and same way for the other party whose hearing you)
8.Battery takes a long 4 hours and 15 minutes for the full charge but will surly wont let u down

owner of lgkp199, 24 Apr 2009-yes you can move ur messages from ur sim to ur phone and v... moremessage is not depend on phone's memory like nokia it has 200 sms memory

I tried Opera Mini with and wow it works

i m also getting tired about anti thif tracker but at last i will found the way
1 from the main menu setting>security>Anti-theftmob tracker press ok
2 in the set atmt coad press ok and please switch on
3 the default coad is 0000
4 to change atmt coad setting>security>Anti-theftmob tracker press ok select change atmt coad and change the coad of your selecteable number
5 after all this prossiger you will be edit the name and number you wanted the text message ro be sent
sapose that i will stol your mobile and take out your sim and insert my sim after in the 20 second the mobile is send automatically sms to your edit number in the anti mob tracker and in the sms mob give my number to u

Very very nice phone. nice battery life nice sound and every thing is nice. Tell me that how can i activate anti theft mobile? I open it but when i enter the number phone says enter setting name:? Help me please

finally figured it out. the download was blocked by the PC.
Just downloaded it on the site mentioned.

and i can't download any kp199 pc suite on http://www.lgmobiles.com
nothing happens when i click the KP199 among the dropdown list. Its really frustrating.

Just both the phone. It comes with a 1 gb microsd here in the philippines. the problem i encountered is i can't find any pc over the internet. Where can i get it?

I purchased the phone early this week and tried to configure it to connect to the Internet. However, it is to no avail up to the present. I live in the Philippines, and is there anyone from the same country who was able to connect to the Internet using the KP199 through Globe? Thanks a lot!
