Originally, phones were made for calling other people. Nowadays, phones have become computers are are more complicated to use. This is why we have laptops!

I saw it and touched it (no OS though) recently during Digital Technology Expo (Athens, GR). LG Rep's there told me it will sell for about E600 in GR. God, most beautiful gadget I 've ever seen. Makes iPhone (which I also played with) look like its bigger, older (slimmer though) brother. Black is beautiful indeed. Problem is there's no GPS, but I wouldn't mind, even with a 400 MHz processor (specs not clear yet). Only mention of it on expansys.com but without a price. I personally hope it hits the market in Xmass, otherwise I'll go for either i-mate ultimate 9502 or the e-ten X800. I now have the Qtek S200

It is avaliable from 6th Nov in some countries of Europe. In Germany it is available by Vodafone for 499 Euros without contract.

Gogola, you are wrong. GPS functionality does not depend on software. The phone needs a built-in GPS receiver to have GPS capability.

Usually GPS is first a hardware module with software for mapping. GPS is a kind of radio that gets the signals from satellites. That radio module doesn’t use the frequencies and standards from cellular networks and if it is missing you can’t have direct access to satellites that transmit the position, you might just use some less independent solutions based on cellular relay, against a fee and not sure about all coverage.

GPS is a software not an hardware functionality meaning it can be instore into the phone.

GPS Peter, GPS is missing and its lack will pull down this phone. BTW a blue screen and some fingerprints on its slick case might give you a better look to it; it is too stealthy in that the only picture about it spread.

Wi-fi / HSDPA / 92.5g / 400 Mhz / Beautiful / FM radio... What else could you ask for? I 'm really looking forward to get my hands on this phone, no matter the cost!
