Its a great S60 phone for texters who'd rather type. Its not tyring to compete with nokia communicators its meant to make it easier for keyboard or thumbpad users. I think LG are just taking a different direction to the rest of the market by tyring something unexpected in a different price range. Keep up the good work!

I have a ton of software on my Nokia 6120 classic. Will it all work with the LG KT610?
Will other S60 software also work on the KT610?

boy, this is one ugly phone, looks like my little nephews alphabet learner toy, i would look like a wannabe high end gadget user carrying this, the emphasis on the word "wannabe".

Pejay, 17 Sep 2008Yes its suport symb. Best build for bussines phone, its not... morefrz..i think LG cant compare with nokia E90 since it dont have wifi and it cant catch out the technology right now because all of the current new model phone is with wifi.
Actually i am E90 user, i dont think without wifi, LG can replace nokia phone to become communicator phone.

I bought this one, after very scrutinous comparison. I am delighted I did. Build quality is very very impressive. Was used to Blackberry (which has enormous possibilities but not as easy going as the very logical Symbian OS. External screen has automatic key lock, easily 2-touch unblockable. Internal screen very high resolution and no glaring problems so very readable. Also quite awesome battery autonomy. Besides very nice "just phone" feeling, which remains first use of any gsm... Understatement mobile this is, very businesslike, and people are impressed at you unflipping it.
I have to repeat, the build quality and feel are really awesome, I had 22 mobile phones until today, this is by far the highest qualilty I ever touched. WifFi is not there, maybe a pity but not that big disadvantage, as - at least in Belgium - almost all (even private) netwerks are secured, so HSDPA is much more of use.

this cell phone is not a nokia. so, please stop comparing it to the e90. this is an lg kt610. it's not as good as a nokia e90 in many asoects, for sure. but, the price is only half that of e90's as well. if you want the e90, then go get the e90, as long as you want to pay the extra US$350 or so for it.

The specs say that it has push email, but the review does not mention it... what kind of push email does it have (if any)? would it support Microsoft Exchange Activesync? (I know that all E-series Nokia phones have that.)
