Looks like in Brazil, it was launched as "LG G2 Lite" (D295).

Everything seems good. Just lack of resolution.
If phone would be launched under 10k in India, I would definitely buy this phone.

in south Africa u cab get a ZTE blade l2 r1700 (only quad core 1gig ram for under r2000 plus dull sum and 8mp can

I hope this makes it to South Africa. We need good quality cheap smartphones. High-end models are so expensive. The Motorola moto g & e never made it to our shores.

Where did you find out that there is no GPU?
It is almost impossible to buy a Mobile SoC without GPU these days. They are always packaged together with other chips inside the SoC.
