I Was Just Wondering if anyone knew if this phone would work in the USA. I'm Very interested in buying it but all the posts i've seen are from Australia.

I just got the LG M6100 and i have great reception, im in Australia in Victoria, the only problem is its locked to Vrigin BUT LOOK AT THIS!!!! Virgin are owned by Optus, i stuck my Optus Sim in and it works!!!!! (Telstra and Vodafone dont) So its a great phone and it has heaps of features, very cute! A have to get

Hi .. its been 2 weeks i have the LG M6100 and its a greate phone. I was just wondering if i can transfer pictures from my computer to my cell phone. I tried few times but it didn`t work.. i can only transfer pictures taken from my cell to the computer. My second question is when i put the alarm clock on , my alarm tone can be one of the mp3 songs that i have transfered in my cell?? thx

best phn buy da phone got everything and yes you can put your mp3 as your ringtone and yes got recepion

To add ur mp3 songs or pictures to image folder via lg contents bank u need to start the modem on ur phone first (it's in the tools group) then u have to connect the phone to ur pc using the usb cable. First u need to install lggsm programs! After that, if the modem is started PC will recognize the modem and install it automaticaly! After that u can use ur lg programs!

Alright,
I'm almost convinced I want to buy it,
only problem is, in my area of Australia
there are quite a few places with shoddy
reception; my question is whether or not
the antenna is a powerful reciever?
Will I have trouble with reception?

I got this fone 2 months ago ..tell ya wat itz the best fone ever..small/cute...i recommnt anyone to buy this ..da best...i av one question my fone came wif Virgin ..but iam using my optus sim .....is dat alrttt..

i got this phone 2 days ago i went on my computer for music so easy i pugged my usb in than windows media just like that like a mp3 player love it and camera good too

hay dis iz da best phone ever so small but good lots of room for music videos and photo's and i have of another lg its a u8360 oh and v3x da m6100 is da best little phone ever people get it and one more thing it's so cute

hey ppl. This is a great set , voice quality of songs is superb but using it as a mobile is very difficult . A lot of network problem is there battery standby is very less as compare to nokia . AS A MP3 PLAYER ITZ GOOD BUT AS MOBILE WORST

i havent got to figure out how to create PHONEBOOK PHOTO. I read the opinions posted in the past and i tried to follow how others said.. to create 48x48 size and save the contact as phone not on sim. when we put as phonebook photo, is that 48x48 in pixels?
when i try add photo for caller ID, i still see the msg saying "phonebook picture empty"
what do i have to do????

hey peoples. this is just a note to say that this mobile is also available through optus boost pre-paid not just though virgin or unlocked.
its currently $199 and Available exclusively through: Telechoice and Optus World stores nationwide.(meaning australia)

U don't need the software to transfer mp3 or other files from pc to the phone 'cause it recognizes the phone like any other usb device plus u can always use bluetooth. Phone is gr8, excelent camera, 128 mb, gr8 sound. If it won't work with ur pc then something must be wrong with ur OS 'cause it works just fine with me.
