okay for those who needs help in adding songs to their phone this is how you do it...
first u connect ur phone to the computer
then open a folder called my computer (this has nothing to do with the LG content bank)
click folders and u will see a list on the left side
find the file where u store ur music then look for Removable disk (G:) and click the box next to it, you will see my media, click the box then on the right side u should see ur songs... and whatever song u want to put into the phone, drag the picture to the music section...and there, u got the song into the phone already!! its actually really really easy :)

hey i bought this fone but i don't know how to put mp3 songs on it or change the ringtone. u put it as one but then it changes back to this other one. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how do i put a picture to a contact. when i press edit the contact and try to find a picture it says the phonebook picture empty. ow do i put pictures in there???? im getting quite annoyed

Yay i might be getting this phone in like a weeks time after i broke my Samsung D500's screen, when you play the mp3 on loud speaker is is as loud as the d500's speaker that is plugged in.. and also is it hearable in loud places when it rings?

I love my new phone its metallic pink..I got it shipped from China and its got lil asian animation..I like the fact that it came with 2 batteries instead of 1..My mom loves it too because you can change the language to Vietnamese..At first the connection was really bad everyone complained that i sound too far away but after a week everything is just fine..As far as the disk it came with I dont have a clue how to use it...I just connect my phone to the computer and click and drag the songs i want to Edrive..

I got this phone about a week ago and for those of you struggling to connect it to the computer because it keeps saying "initializing...please wait" you have to make sure the modem in your phone is switched on and the phone is connected via the usb cord. you also need to go to http://au.wowlg.com/phones/mnsw_list.jsp and download the software. then it should all work.
I need help though, i worked out how to put songs, pics, etc. from the computer onto my phone but how do i put pics from my phone onto the computer? is it impossible? i cant work it out.
please help.

sammy, to use ur 3gp files on ur computer, u need quicktime player

can someone help me with being able to transfer the videos that i have recorded on the fone to my computer. I am able to get the videos on my comp but i am unable to play with windows media player. Is there a certain player i should be using?

I bought it. Its a great phone. Only wish it had expandable memory and large screen. But I say it is well worth it's price.(Rs. 6000 Indian currency). If you have to pay more than this in your country, forget it and go in for MotoRazr. Also check out Nokia 6281.

its a really good phone, except i cant seem to get am mp3 as my ringtone, and cause i couldn't use the content bank, i just copied and pasted the files into the music second using my computer. and i can listen to them using the mp3 player, and it sets them as the ringtone but when my actual phone rings, it rings with some other thing. please help!! just send me an email thanks

I bought it, but the Lg Contents Bank doesn't recognize my m6100, in the port setting not listed, only com 1 connection available

i love it..its the best gift ive gotten from my boyfriend ever..i live in the u.s. and it works fine for me..camera..mp3..screen size..all great..its a good buy if you ask me..i cant get on the internet from it..help someone..but other than that..its great..

peopel you do know all info is posted on the specs and this phone does not have MP3 compatability and its constantly loked onto virgin sucky coz u needa top up to $80 to unlock it ....so get a d500 or the new one d900 outright and sall would be good

hey rach n raw i went in today and i saw a display of of da m6100 its an allright good looking phone but yer the screen is quit small, but hey its a nice little phone small slide phones usually cost up to $1000 but dis one is quit cheap

Hi,
I was just wondering if someone could please, please tell me how to download anything off of that PC DISC that comes with the phone pack. Everytime i click 'CONNECT' it says 'INITIALISING...PLEASE WAIT'and then gives up and doesnt do anything. I have got no idea what i am to do. I have tried lots of ways to get it to work, but it just wont work. Somebody please help me. The USB port is completely connected to the phone when i do it, so i dont know what i am doing wrong. the modem thing is also on.
If someone could help me it would be muchly appereciated.

its on special at virgin for 161 till Oct 10, i think.
Also you must recharge up to $80 before they unlock it for you.
