I had it, beautiful phone... it had a camera and could make basic quality videos, the camera was 1.3 mp, mp3 player, wap navigation, FM radio, and even today I am surprised by the photos that this phone took with such low resolution... very good quality of contrast and color... beautiful memories!!

I've also owned this for about a year. It's the best basic phone, mainly because I think it's pretty, unlike some horrible cheap phones out there.
Its a very durable phone considering that I drop it almost every single day, and it hasn't failed on me.
And as others have said, it works in the things it should: calling and sms.

I had owned this phone for more than a year, its a good, cheaper one. it has a good battery life if you use the "economic mode". it has a good sound, and ringtones are strongly audible.

I own one... Living on a small island with few choices regarding cell phones and since I needed a QUICK (cheap) replacement for my dead Nokia full-featured phone. The MG160 was on sale for the equivalent of $39KYD so I bought it, with the anticipation that I would then take my time and buy another full-featured phone later. That was three months ago and I have not yet even begun my search for another phone.
I have had so many bad experiences with nice phones going POOF just after the warranty expires that these days I have adopted the philosophy that a cell phone is for making and receiving phone calls (and text messages, with the expectation that you will be throwing the thing away very soon anyway. So now, if this one goes POOF, I simply toss it in the garbage with no regrets. Then I anticipate buying aother simple "Ghetto Phone" for under 50 bucks and being happy.
So far I actually LIKE this very spartan, very simple yet rugged feeling phone. Yes I miss WAP and mp3's and sending/receiving pix and all my cool self-edited mp3 ring tones. But it is my choice not to spend my hard-earned dollars on the bells and whistles encased in the fragile junk out there that the cell phone companies doo-doo on us with. Far too many of us think we can't live without a do-it-all cell phone. Not me anymore! Yes, this phone totally lacks high-tech pizzaz. But for well under $50 I can not reasonably whine about what it lacks. I can make and receive phone calls and texts and it wakes me up in the morning with a gentle menuet alarm tune. If it lasts over a year I will be happy!
My main and significant negative observations are: (1.)The the battery life is truly SAD and PATHETIC compared to the several Nokias I have owned (even the cheapest ones). However, MOST other brand phones have the same problem as, in my opinion, Nokia phones are generally among the best as far as stand-by and talk time is concerned. (2.)I cannnot find a car charger for this model. Do they make one? Does anyone here know where I can find one? (3.)The ring tone selection is severely limited and the choices of ring profiles is likewise sadly limited (even compared to my old Nokia 1100!!!). (4.)Font size is fixed and a bit too small.
But then, all things considered, I got what I paid for and I harbour no unrealistic expectations that this phone should challenge the Razr for features. LG should be applauded for making a model that is within the reach of even the financially challenged amongst us.
