LG officially announces 2017 K series and Stylus 3 smartphones

As expected, LG has announced a range of new smartphones, including those belonging to the company's 2017 K series (the K3, K4, K8, and K10) as well as the Stylus 3. All these handsets will be showcased at the upcoming CES 2017 show.

The K10 (2017) is powered by Mediatek's MT6750 SoC and sports a 5.3-inch HD display. RAM is 2GB, while internal memory is 32GB. In terms of camera, the device packs in a 13MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter.

Measuring 148.7 x 75.3 x 7.9mm and weighing in at 142g, the phone packs in a 2,800mAh battery, runs Android 7.0 Nougat, and features a fingerprint sensor as well.

The K8 (2017), on the other hand, is powered by Snapdragon 425 chipset and sports a 5-inch HD display. Memory config is 1.5GB/16GB, while camera combo remains the same 13MP/5MP. Measuring 144.8 x 72.1 x 8.09 mm and weighing same as the K10, the K8 also runs Android 7.0, but packs in a smaller 2,500mAh battery. There's no fingerprint sensor on the device.

Moving on, the remaining two K series smartphones - the K4 (2017) and K3 (2017) - are entry level devices, powered by Snapdragon 210 chipset, featuring FWVGA display resolution, having 1GB/8GB memory configuration, and running Marshmallow. Screen sizes are 5-inch and 4.5-inch, while camera configuration is 5MP/5MP and 5MP/2MP, respectively. Battery capacities stand at 2,500mAh and 2,100mAh.

Finally, the Stylus 3 is powered by Mediatek's MT6750 SoC with octa-core CPU, and sports a 5.7-inch HD display. RAM is 3GB, while storage is 16GB. The device features 13MP/8MP camera combo, runs Android 7.0, and packs in a 3,200mAh battery.

As the name suggests, there's a built-in stylus pen as well. FM radio and fingerprint recognition features are also there.
