The Optimus 2X looks awesome and it could very well be my next phone. However, it will be interesting to see the competitors newest phones on MWC next week.
There's only one thing that I'm missing on this phone and that is a Xenon flash. IMO these LED-flashes are not as good as Xenon-flashes.

Recommending a free Apps download site for beginner smart-phone users (LG World)

Did you know that there are application services for LG phone users living overseas?
Let me introduce to you LG World, which I found while wandering in the Android Market.
(You can think of it as LG Apps global version.)

After using the Global LG Apps, although there are a few downsides, if used effectively
there is no need to use the black market or phone modifications to enjoy
games and other applications as much as you want.
(I think this would be very useful for beginners who have difficulty with these methods)

pinkpat, 10 Feb 2011am confuse in buying a new phone... I'm dying to buy BB bol... moreBB Bold is a cool phone if you want a compact slider with a qwerty board. And you know you way around the BB interface.
Samsung Galaxy S is the top Android phone along with HTC.If you want to change to Android then this is the phone for you.Jut bare in mind that it doesn't have a camera flash
LG as it was said in the review is the first dual-core phone. If you want to be ahead of other's and have a newer hardware that will become standard then you are in luck!LG is what you need then...overall if you are low on budget Galaxy S would be also excellent. And BB if you write a lot of messages and email because of the qwerty

This guy just wa... moreMy very first contract phone I did recharge & then ignored the lo battery sign until it died. Since then I always buy a spare and have never been powerless, had to use the spare but that was due to high use. This may / may not use a lot of power but carring a spare worked for me. The problem is more acute with these non removable batteries. Nothing looks more cheap than carrying around a charger and plugging it in, laptop seem acceptable to do this, but in my office you rechage a mobile for Health & safety reasons. 400 hours standby seems o.k

GUYS before buying the cell phone of this high cost seriously take a look to the corrupt situation which support the professional robbers in india .... my 20,000 rupees cell phone BL 40 ( new chocolate ) just got pick pocket with in 2 sec. AND what LG does no mobile tracker nothing I mean no service at all ... and LG gallery people i mean the CUSTOMER care people are disgusting instead of helping in situation they makes it more horrible and annoying and outrageous to us ..... so think again especially buying the high cost cell phones which has no security for customer convenience. I don't mean to disappoint anybody its just what i felt like suggesting ... 1 more point to ponder upon ....

This is LG's answer to Samsung Galaxy S .
Optimus 2X has garnered a lot of hype and should it meet the expectations (and I am sure it would),
will set the LG sales charts rolling .

With Optimus 3D being unveiled at MWC 2011 , LG has started 2011 with a bang !!!

Does anybody know if LG will provide the Gingerbread 2.4 update that will be lanched in April? This OS will be the first to support dual core processors for smartphones.

The battery drainage must be unbelievable. This guy just want to dazzle the consumers with faster processors but the batteries haven't seen any progresses in ages. You have smart phones lasting one day or less with decent use, it's a joke.
