gyro can determine the position of the phone in 3-dimension. (east, west, south, north, up, down)
this part allow the phone to detect its exact location. this skill is also used in guided missiles

They did a great job, but Samsung will prepare something even better than LG, and we will know about it at MWC, or maybe at IFA. :)
