i have used this phone like 3 years it worked great i never used any custom rom other then mine builds, they worked pretty awesome this is 1 of the best phone that can be used for development.but mobile is work not proprely becaucs mobile is hung some time..

I tried many custom ROM-s for my 2x, and every single was buggy, including the stock one. Now I'm still on stock ICS, but optimized and modded one - DjangoManouche X - and it finaly works as it should.
Unfortunately, I didn't find any JB bug-free and stable build. It's shame that LG is that bad with providing software upgrades.

No it can be upgraded beyong ics 4.0.4. Advice for all lg 2x users. Change your charger because bundle one is crap and it's because of charger you experience reboots. It's since begining and nobody even bother to check charger, NOBODY!!! install juice defender ultimate and disable refresh on all apps in custom mode it will increase your battery for about 40 hours idle but most of all install custom rom. This phone can work better with custom rom based on kitkat but the main problem of this device is cortex a9 which is totaly crap, all a9 is crap

Anytime am using my phone just went off and reboot back or when i on my data ,the phone wil off and on automatically..i hav restore my phone twice but no stop. Why

My LG Optimus 2X has been getting very hot.It has got up to 45 degrees and feels very hot in my hand.During charge, it was very hot, even when after shutdowned and sometimes when it is unplugged too. Is it normal? I am confused about this.

I upgraded my phone to ICS 4.0.4, First the phone was constantly restarting. THE SOLUTION, i googled a startup manager apk. So i Used it to prevent some apps from starting when the Phone boots. Besides, i manually visit apps settings in the Settings menu to stop some apps.
U can also do a great help to your phone by Removing some apps like facebook, twitter, if you dont frequently use them. The Junks your memory.

Dissapointed, 28 May 2014The word "crap" is the best description for this ... moreThe phone is great, you only need to upload custom Rom and kernel. My phone does Antutu of 11144 points.
