SOME of the guys speaking of 2x's speed after upating to gb....how ridiculous...
jelly bean has come...still poor gingerbread..shame on u lg....

Maybe LG should just skip ICS for the LG O2x and go straight to JellyBean. That would be awesome.

Should I buy the Xperia U or Xperia Neo V or the LG ... moreI believe the Lg Optimus 2X is better then the Xperia U because it has better camera`s and mainly because of it's memory, that has 8 Gb of internal memory and the option of external memory cards (until 32 Gb), well the Xperia U only has 4 Gb of internal and no space for external, and also a better battery; but the pro of the "U" is that you can upgrade it's system to Android 4.0, unlike the 2X that only goes until 2.3 (2 "main" version behind). And I don't like the Neo V because it's bigger, doesn't have a processor as fast as the 2X (only one 1Ghz core, well this one has 2 1GHz core), has worse camera's, less internal memory (but the same external capacity) and smaller screen, but the Pro is that it can also be upgraded to 4.0 Android system.
PS1: There are many other details that you could be interested in to, and it could be interesting to read a few reviews abou them, but at a general look this is about it!
PS2: Sorry abou foolish english mistakes, I'm Brazilian!

Superb phone. coming from xperia neo v, this thing rocks. awesome clear and bright display(like it better than samoled,over saturated colors)Very fast UI after gingerbread update.Premium build quality unlike the plasticky Galaxy S2.Mind blowing games with superb graphics and fluid framerate like riptide gp,samurai vengeance,and a lot more(thanks to nvidia tegra2. Camera is very good but not great and video recording is somewhat dim but i'm not a camera person(ahaha).Only downside for me is below average battery life but it all comes down to the user.light to moderate use 1.5-2days. Heavy usage won't last a day.

I planning to buy this phone and it will be my first android phone. i have read a lot of reviews about this device and i'm not yet a 100% sure about LG so I need some advice if LG phones are good specifically LG optimus 2x.

Lg and nvidia still have not given tegra SoC drivers to devs ti make a normal ICS rom. STAY AWAY FROM LG

I have been using this phone since last 6 months & no issues after the upgrade to GB.
Battery life is not good but it is the case with almost all the Android phones...

Its a fantastic phone using for almost 6mnths in India, 1GB ram would be great for this phone to be Superb...
Waiting for ICS from the time its released, hoping if Google also releases its nexus line in most of the countries through its play store.
Come on LG, Android 4.1 is released & we have not yet tasted Android 4.0 Pull up your SOCKS or please hire some developers from the XDA forum, if your developers are not efficient enough to release the software on schedule as you promise always.
