Anonymous, 16 Jan 2012heay someone can help me.. how can i upgrade my optimus... moreif youre like me, and cant trust the lg pc suite, then go to any lg service centre and theyll do it for free, though i recommend for you to install a custom rom, like cyanogen mod

the truth is, if you look at the other phones, no phones can beat the bang to the buck aspect of this phone, plus if you put aside the flaws of the lg stock rom and flash lets say, cyanogenmod rom, youve got a beast of a phone, yes the battery life sucks, but why wouldnt it if youre constantly using ur phone to do multimedia tasks and browsing and gaming and what not :)

optimus... moreHere’s how you can update your phone to Android 2.3 OS:
1. Visit the LG Mobile homepage (http://www.lg.com/)
2. On the map, choose your country
3. Select “Support > Mobile Phone Support”
4. Find the model number of your phone.
5. Click on and install “WINDOWS USB Driver”
6. Click on “Software Update” and execute the “.exe” file. The LG Mobile Support Tool will be installed automatically.
7. Connect your smartphone to the PC using the USB Cable
8. Click on “Start Updating”. Note: The “Start Updating” button will be activated only if there is new software available
9. After completing the upgrade, unplug the phone.

see!! except galaxy s2 !!! all of my frnds hav less battery than my optimus 2x!!!! galaxy note , xperia arc, xperia arc s , galaxy s , optimus net!!! i knw it lasts less than a day !! bt still alll other fones struggle even more!! speaking practically !! a nrml use u need to charge it two times a day!!! for entertainment dependent fone!

no i hav not rooted !! i am on 2.3.3 android of lg !!!! demerits - i dnt thk any if u dnt compare wd galaxy s2 bcoz it is much costlier now !!!
in ths range no other has sch gr8 ips screen....
no one has dual core
no one supports 1080p full hd recording/
no one gives sch gr8 hardware and design !!!
the most accurate gps yet was found to be of optimus 2x to be 2.5 metrers to correct.....
and a so gr8 8 mp in ds range i dnt thnk !! ray is good but very small!! n no others i thnk wd gd 8 mp!!
battery life still better than xperia ray,neo v, galaxy s ,...... its only competitior is optimus black in ds range !!!!
jst losses are a dual core , 1080p,and 8mp!!!!
and galaxy r is really a superb one !! except the hardware part!!! the best of samsung software inside !!! bt a 5mp is sad !!!! if u r dependent mch on screen then go for optimus 2x !!! bcoz ips lcd gives much better results and as i know!! lcd best screen rankings ----- 1) i phone 4s 2) xperia arc 3) optimus 2x 4) incredible s !!!!! so i thnk in terms of screeen you need optimus 2x !

Galaxy R used Super Clear LCD if you ask me the contrast and color not so good its look pixelated color look washout color,
if you dont believe me go to the cellphone shop and compare it 2x vs R screen ... 2x IPS Screen 100x better than SLCD of galaxy R

Hey guys...i am really confused between the optimus 2x and the galaxy r...ive done a lot of research but still find it very hard to decide..the benchmarks r pretty good for both and either one turns out to be a winner in one of the benchmarks..however im not sure as to which screen is better with better contrast and colour( As that will somewhat help me decide) ..and overall also would u please help me decide on one of the two...ASAP

app storage depends ! as u can transfer apps to sd card !! that dosentm means all internal storage is rid of it !! it uses lesser amount !! in dat case intenal 1 gb memory stores it !!!!! i transfer some games to sd !! then weightage decreases !! till now when i had 230 apps. all on default !! it went frm 1 gb to .56gb !!! when i moved games and a few (100) to sd card !! it now shows .81gb !! means !! u dnt need to care abt it much!! and yaa ahmed !! battery needs to be charged two times on cntinuous use!!!! that irritates me too!!! but you see same is wd other smartfones too!!! and on idle way u want maximum battery get juicedefender ultimate on free as i said below
