Hi ppl, just a quick question, can some1 help me root my phone pls, Before i updated it i had it rooted with SuperOneClick but that doesnt seem to work anymore... does any1 have any other way?

O2X v/s GS2, 28 Nov 2011wat do u think which phone is better optimuis 2x or galaxy ... moreI own Optimus 2X and i have used Galaxy S2. I think spending money on S2 will be good even though 2X is not a bad phone.

Got the phone updated to 2.3.4
It works fine.. :)
I suggest everyone should go for the update as soon as possible... u can feel the difference. :)

wat do u think which phone is better optimuis 2x or galaxy s2
GS2 has the upper hand but still i used both phones but if considered price then O2x wins but in specs S2
But for me optimus 2x is the winner...
U guys say wat wud u prefer...!!!

shud i update my 2x to gingerbread or not....
m thinking of putting custom rom like cynagenmod but m not a techie so m scared my phone wud get damaged but i think i can still manage to do so by watching video of dat....
My question is dat shud i updte through LG or via a custom rom
OR
Shud i update it to gingerbread or not???
bcoz many people r saying dat der some issues in 2.3...!!!

if you want your phone to be as good as galaxy s2 then post to nvidia your demanding and threatening as a customer that if tgey won't release the source code for tegra2 on our phones to developers like cyanogen team we won't even stare at their products again,here is their feedback:

the matter with this phone is it's kernel and as far as I see from mine and also heard from others,it is the same with 2.2.
nvidia and lg are rensosible for this,cause tegra's source code is still not released...

yes , am using for over a month . sole issue is battery ! post adv task killer also it drains out in same period ! is it common experience ?

VTP, 25 Nov 2011Hi recently upgraded my 2x to official 2.3.4 released by LG... moreyes i m also facing battery problem.. battery drains very quickly.. lg should think on it. and dual core power after gb update. cell remain as on froyo but froyo is better than gb

I have this phone since 3 weeks , this is a pretty nice toy but my personnal experience is not so good. The battery drained in 4 hours, to get a advantage you must close all applications all time. When you close all applications for me this is a very conventional phone. Also I experienced many crashs or freezing. So far I cannot rely on this phone.

Hi recently upgraded my 2x to official 2.3.4 released by LG and facing decreased battery backup! Anybody facing this issue?
I will suggest if you have LG Optimus2x on 2.2.2 DO NOT UPGRADE it to 2.3.4!!!

I own a cellphone of this brand. The battery gets drained in just 4 hrs on. Just recently i tested the HDMI port I was surpriced because the unit turned off everytime i insert the hdmi cable.I removed the hdmi cable and try to restart the unit but no response. I need to remove the battery and put it back then tried to restart and it did.
I sent the unit unit for check up and the technician has to replace the whole board coz apparently the board has a problem. After 3 days the unit came back . When I charge the unit, the charger is too hot ( 50 - 60 deg C or even more)in just an hour of charging and also the cellphone itself gets hot. Can any one tell me if this is normal with this brand of cellphone? Please help. Thanks.
