Go for LG Optimus Black.
I Gaurantee you that Battery will keep up much more than any other smartphone out there in the market.

this phone sucks. i bought my lg p990 optimus around 15 days back. and having problems from the very first day of purchases.
rebooting itself atleast twice in a day
battery problems only 3-5 hours
hang time to time
etc.

GPRS and GPS are definite battery killers, if you have them switched on a lot your battery will drain. Same goes for video playback, it kills batteries not only on smartphones but also laptops.
My LG2X lasts for usually one day, with data enabled for a few hours, music playing and WIFI use, surfing the net and some games. I reduced my screen brightness to 20% which for me is bright enough. That is somewhat normal usage for me. So it really depends on your phone habits.

BY the way i found that "fast reboot" is also a good app for killing tasks.

Friends,
All the smartphone (high end mobiles)come with very poor battery back up. In order, to increase the battery life of ur phone u need to install some of the Software which is available in Anroid market:
Do the below to improve ur batter life
1) Automatic Task Killer
2) Battery Saver
3) Minimise the screen brighness
4) Remove the screensaver
5) Disconnect Wi-fi when not in use
6) De-activate auto updates

Dual core is failed,

battery life only 8hours for minimal used and 4hours for heavy used,
Motorola Atrix
Not work properly
Battery is suck,
SGS2
Motherboard heating,
yellow tint screen
only 12hrs battery life
cannot send and received text call properly
Dualcore is not the best it is a big failed smartphone, singlecore is superior without any issued.

Just bought this phone 2weeks ago.. so far i didn't meet anything problem ... u guys mention the battery life is poor but seem that u all wrong.... i just have the phone using for WiFi, music and game in two days battery life in a single charge. I'm not sure u guys why having those battery problem on this phone or may be download those apps that may require a lot of battery. Perhaps u guys should look into the issue by yourself on those apps or error (May be u are the unlucky person having problem).. It is so weird when i read all the opinion and comment about O2X battery and other issue.. but those thing not happen to me.. so far a great phone and fast response smartphone ever use...

Android Killer, 12 Jun 2011...I had this phone for a 3 weeks and return back to the sh... moreI think the phone rebooting issue has something to do with the apps that are downloaded.Some apps are not really compatible with froyo and i think it's causing the reboot.

...I had this phone for a 3 weeks and return back to the shop because phone started to behave strange...
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY THIS MODEL:
- this is a excellent phone for the price and the only one can match SGS2, but not running well with Froyo,
I would not recommend to buy this model until LG brings update
- If you like to play games this phone is for you
- You can overclocked this model to 1.5GHz
- Solid camera
- Very smooth and fast loading apps and internet
- Fantastic picture on Plasma/LCD TV
- You can use skype - only voice calls
...my version phone was AUS v10b, the first 2 weeks phone was brilliant and for some reason problems started...
- rebooting recently
- wi-fi does not reconnect after waking up from sleep mode
- the charging is also crap and battery is really hot while you charging
- sometimes when people call me, my phone doesn't make any sign of it, but at the other side it is ringing
- won't download apps from android market
- about battery: ALL SMART PHONES HAVE SAME PROBLEM - POOR BATTERY LIFE, in my case one day battery last for a 12 hours - next day after fully charging not even 6 hours.....
Sorry LG great phone but too many problems, now I stuck with my old Nokia 6300 in 4 years I never had any problem, I think all company's need to find solution for battery life at least 3 days without charging...
