btw LG O1 is cheaper tha... moreI'm talking about the LG Optimus 2X. I bought it with a mobile plan for $300, but the Samsung galaxy S was going for $500 with the same plan. I even got a free PSP for buying the LG 2X.
The price of the LG 2X has gone down since when i bought it which was about 3 months ago but the Galaxy S is still at the same price.

i have the unit for about a month..so far i'm very satisfied..the speed, display, camera and design are awesome..the battery issue was resolve once i updated my phone..so far the best phone that i ever had..

But battery life really sucks.. it last around 7 hrs for me.. worst part is that, it drains much faster when its idle.. I found the cause was "Car Home" app which runs in background, so after every restart kill the car home service and ur battery will last 4-5 hrs more..

You could sell them to 2nd person at cheap price and buy some another mobile then.
I have to cancel my decision of buying it also

AnonD-3555, 06 Jun 2011alot of ppl seems to hv qn abt the battery lifespan. but to... morei'm the extreme when it come to battery level.so i always try to keep my phone fully charge before i leave home or office and once i'm reach home or office...first thing i'll do is plug it into charge. this practice so far so good.... havent encounter any problem with low bat...hv to take note, even any phone review said 6,7,8 or 9 hours usage after test....it may not be true.different apps play big part in battery consumption. so alot of times, is not that the batter faulty or wrong review, it's the user who have to know their phone. mobile phone nowadays is already become part of our life. so u better know ur phone like u have to know ur wife....

2. ... moreThe phone does the occasional reboot sometimes, but rarely. I find that it would only reboot when it gets hot, and that happens rarely for whatever reason.
My batt life lasts about 1 day with an hour of surfing with GPRS not WIFI, 2+hours of audio playback, some 30min-1hr of calls and frequent fidgeting of the phone.

I too dint know abt such a pathetic battery life, even the salesperson dint inform me :(
I have had this fone for around 5 days now. already I'm feeling the horrors of the battery life. if u keep alarm and sleep.. fone wud've got switched off sometime in night.. one day I went to office late , because of this fone.

Well written review. How much backup ur getting ? my fone will drain in 10-11 hr when idel :(
what I observed is the charging time is pretty fast. For full charge it took only 2.5 hrs..
So we can say charging time is directly proportional to discharge time :P
