Love the phone but what's up with the battery? I charge it overnight and it only gives me less than a days use. And I'm not the only person that has said the same thing.
Anybody know why this is? Is there a fix or is the battery life really that cr*p!
I'm not a beginner user either so what's up LG?!?

Lg optimus 2x beats the iphone 4 hands down, no questions asked. only phone that can stand up to the optimus 2x is the sgs2 but it is way more expensive

anyway i got my handset and using it fro 1day now
but i am amazed that i installed a file need for speed shift the file size was around 39mb but it didnt run the screen got tottaly whiteout only i can hear game sounds no display but total white :-o

For all those people that are getting bugs, flash on cm7 latest nightly build is amazing, overclocked to 1.5gz headphone volume increase and there is also a camra app to record 1080p @ 30 fps much better phone once debranded

it does not play .mkv files by default whi... moreno bro...havent tried any mkv yet so no codec installed so far,quite happy with the native player...most of my movies and videos are in divx or avi format so nevr bothered much abt the mkv....
but i guess there are few players available in the market which does a good job while playing the mkv files,so...neednt to worry !!!
but one thing i havent got yet is that,why they have chosen the 3gp format for the inbuilt video recording...it compresses files toooo...much :-(
and one more thing,if u find any way to root ur device other than EXT4root or superoneclick then please let me know,dying to get it rooted !!! cheers :-)

Hey guys thanks for the infos you shared. I think i can live with the 372 user available RAM. I think i'll just have to close some apps when streaming videos through the internet with this phone or when playing HD games. had some freeze frame experience when doing so while there were other apps ruunning.
So far it happened twice while streaming for anime videos and also on another occasion while playing gun bros.
I have no problems so far when running other apps specially those that doesn't consume enough memory on the unit.
I'm really beginning to love this phone already. I'm not yet done putting my phone to the test yet. I wanna try and really see how far this phone could go with its potentials. I'm also excited for the GB update, definitely it will improve this unit's potential when it gets the update. So far on my third day with the phone, I didn't experience any random shutdowns.
HDMI experience was really great for me. I tried it last night, and it really impressed me.
Also regarding the sound quality, I find it really good. Loud speaker produces good sounds, and yes with the 2 speakers on the bottom of the phone, only one produces the sound. Maybe the other one is really for the mic or something. When using the headset, music quality is not so good at full volume. i recommend you guys lower the volume a maybe 2 or 3 clicks. Though, when using poweramp, its a different story, music quality is really good. I just hope LG can do something bout the preinstalled music player in the GB update. I hope it could par with the likes of Power Amp. Oh, and In Call quality with the headset is also good for me. I still have to try with the blue tooth headset...
Well I guess that's it for now... all in all, I still would give LG a thumbs up for this phone. This is really a great phone and definitly it would be even better with the upcomming updates.

earlix, 25 May 2011just bought my 2x yesterday, i downloaded several apps for ... morethe rest of the ram is for tegra 2 chipset, remember its like a graphic card! that said there s only 372mb for android and apps. thats not bad because the most ram is for heavy games or something that tegra 2 will come in and its all balanced.
