Guess what? Its June 2019 and this Phone is still working!! Original Battery, I just cannot Believe it! stored it few years ago in its box and used it as a backup when my main phone broke, happened 3 times already, my last phone a Zenphone 4 broke due battery problem and searched for my old 3DMax, turn it on and there it its, solid as a rock; just came here to give this phone a tribute, yes, the software it's waaaay outdated, some websites won't open in Opera browser, battery wont last for a day since I am a heavy user, but hey, I can make and receive calls, whatsapp still works (till 2020) and the 3d camera still amaze me and my friends, got it in 2012 and it went with me in many adventures, thanks LG for doing good long lasting products.

I got a lg optimus max 3d manufacure 2012 I bought it on february 2013 everything was fine the batery long lasting on wifi taking picture, taking 3d videos was really fine up to 4.5 hours. nowadays on 2015 I bougth a samsung galaxy s3 i9300 and I realized that the samsung brand s3,s4,s5,s6,s7 the same failure has the battery perhaps the screen ips led is better than super amoled screen drain more batery that will be the real issue

I remember when I got this phone on february 2013 lg optimus max 3d was fantastic the battery on the web thru wifi up to 4.5 hours recording video the battery long lasting nowadays 2015 I got a samsung galaxy s3 i9300 the same age firstable the battery on the galaxy on the wifi is worst comparing to lg optimus max 3d I don't know samsung pretend to be a leader on samsung galaxy s5 s6 s7 is an expensive brand and they products don't worth it. pour quality.

I had this phone for 3 years now and I love the 3D feature. Unfortunately the cam eyes are not far away enough, so the pictures 3D vision is like you are watching it as a small bug or mouse: The eyes are very close to each other. Another thing that bugs me on this phone is the low battery life, it drains the energy so fast. I even bought a new battery only to find out the problem is the phone, not the battery. Actively it's dead within 1-2 hours (playing games, phoning), on standby it's dead within a 3/4 day. If you check the clock sometimes, say good bye to it in 6 hours. 4 hours, if you listen to music while checking the clock sometimes. Last thing is the old OS. They plan to update it to 4 for all the time now, but never got it done. LG really sucks on this. Some apps are already requiring a newer OS, and this phone does not get it done. I will get a real 3D cam for my 3D experience and drop this phone for good.

Two years later this phone still working gor me flawless, android 2.3.6, run solid, still people say WOW when they see a pic or video on 3D on this phone, its also my 3D camera, im pretty happy with the phone, a great choose I did, haters should walk away, there its no phone like this, literally.

Im using this phone for about 2 years now... im happy that it performs well never had a problem or any lag im stuck with android 2.3.6 version....
Yeah maybe its a outdated phone not suitable for gamers but ill still like it... yah i know what onwners felt about no update. I talked to a personel at lg service center they can never update it because its not stable the compatibility is not there... because the technology of the hardware is too advance lg did not anticipate it and the platform android using is out of it.thats why lg discontinue their tritechnology because of os issues.. so stop asking for it... yah you can rom update it but it will never be the same... if you want updated fon just buy a new one...

Whoever that said he/she will upload a video on how to upgrade the Android version to the latest version, e.g.: KitKat (or the few versions before it), I hope you will provide the video.
