Rock, 22 Jul 2011It is look like iPhone 4G Apple never release iPhone 4G...they only release iPhone 4. The number 4 indicates the model series and iPhone do not support 4G network..not yet..it is not that advance bro. Get your fact right. HTC and Samsung have 4G phone but not Apple.

Rock, 22 Jul 2011It is look like iPhone 4G no its not. i have the black already would like the white thougth i dont think it will make it to south africa. the ui is good but tha battery is sh*(o)t. charge daily.

I have the Black for a few days already.i do like the phone.
Strong points are of course the screen and the looks. it`s a gorgeous phone.
i do like the camera. Videos are great and pictures are very nice too. Flash is surprisingly strong.
Not so good is the software itself.
I`ve previously used a xperia phone and the software although simple is a lot better in comparison to what LG has to offer. There`s no backup utility in it (at least i didn`t see one). facebook and Twitter apps are a joke and the weather apps are the standard ones from accuweather. The G button is a nice addition but other than that i was hoping for more.
In terms of OS and UI fluidity it`s good. Very few effects used and theres a bit of lag sometimes, but that`s to be expected since it`s still stuck in android 2.2.2. I hope LG updates the phone in this department very quickly. The hardware is there but LG isn`t keeping up in the software department.
Battery usage is ok. I get 2 days with moderate usage (2 or 3h of internet, 1h of music play and some messages).
To save battery i just use taskiller and kill all apps idle in the background.
P.S - To answer a question i just read. Flash is built in the browser, but of course you have to update it in the market. It works wonders. ;)
The update to android 2.3 is reported to be available in september, october tops. I hope so.

[deleted post]Can anyone confirm that since its 3G network support is different region-wise? Meaning: the european version will not work in the 3G network of US??
