Optimus!! after using for 2 weeks, SUCKS!! short battery life(less than a day), need to reset by turning off daily or else hang!! AVOID!!!

manu, 23 Oct 2011i have this phone for almost 3 months and don`t see any dus... moreI perfectly agree with you Manu. I got this device for my wife recently and its working absolutely fine. The only issue being the photo shoot in dark which is not quite good otherwise its magnificent.
just FYI, I have spoken to LG customer service and the 2.3.3 Gingerbread update will be available in the month of December '11.
You just need to download the LGSoftware update from the website and once you connect your device via USB, it will ask for the update automatically.
So, just wait for a month or two.

i have this phone for almost 3 months and don`t see any dust issues in it.
Don`t understand what you are talking about. it`s perfectly clean.
About the rest i like it a lot. besides being a looker, it has an amazing vivid screen and works very well. I`ve had some issues with the camera (photos and videos) that sometimes crashes when you switch from video to photo mode.
We could really use an update to android 2.3, mainly because most of it`s potential is still hidden due to Froyos limitations. i hope LG remembers us and delivers an update before the end of the year.

So I'm getting the white Optimus black and was wondering is the phone good or not? Does the dust go under screen or not? Because I really haven't had a touch screen or LG phone before. I really don't wanna be disappointed. I wanted HTC desire but they didn't have it so is this phone okay? Just asking...
